A moral call to arms about the transgender revolution

People who do not follow conservative news are unaware that our entire medical system has joined teachers in embracing the fantasy of transgenderism, and this is true whether the people involved are true believers, power junkies, or enthralled by the possibility of the millions of dollars tied to drugging and surgically mutilating children. Whatever the motives, it’s time for ordinary people to push back very hard.

I have Libs of Tik Tok on my daily reading list. I go there regularly because it helps me remember why, sometimes at great personal cost, I don’t retire to knitting and travel but, instead, spend most of my waking hours thinking about politics and trying to persuade people to see politics as I do. The importance of Libs of Tik Tok is that she travels through the internet looking at what leftists are proud enough to boast about—and then exposes those boasts to a larger audience than the leftists intended.

A significant portion of the leftists whom Libs of Tik Tok exposes are members of the LGBTQ+++ community or their “allies.” Over the past few years, these people have been increasingly vocal about the goal of “transing” kids. Teachers boast about bringing pronouns to kindergarteners and making sure that their students know that the teachers, with their transgender grooming, are the students’ “real” parents. Crazed parents boast about raising gender-neutral children or realizing that, when their two-year-old son said, “I like pink,” he was desperately saying that he’s really a girl.

Lately, the “transing” that Libs of Tik Tok exposes is about indoctrinating children to embrace toxic chemicals and mutilating surgeries so that they can be their “true” gender.

Some real men Republicans are already doing so. Gov Ron: "...gender-affirming care is a euphemism for disfiguring kids..."

And what does this "real man" think about mutilating adults? If someone believes they are crippled, should doctors in Florida be allowed to cut their legs off? Or if they believe they are blind, put their eyes out?

This trans problem is not principally about children, and if you make it so, you affirm the proposition that the phenomenon in adults is real and that mutilation is acceptable, ethical even.

And once you affirm THAT, you will allow children to be mutilated, because "who says "A" says "B".

The “trans” movement is trying to move society to the position that no one should be helping anyone with “gender dysphoria” to get out of it.

The "trans movement" is part of a larger conspiracy to make it impossible to believe in absolutes. Saying "men can give birth" and women can have penises" is the same as Winston Smith in Nineteen Eighty-Four being forced to believe that 2+2=5 (or 4 or some other number, or all at the same time). As Theodore Dalrymple put it:

Not at all.

I'm saying that if he, or you, or anyone else accepts ADULT mutilation of the genitals ("but just not the legs, or the eyes"), you have surrendered completely using some kind of libertarian nonsense philosophy.

Once you grant that it is POSSIBLE that "Bruce Jenner is really a woman", you have to make unprincipled exceptions to prevent child mutilation.

Mutilation is wrong BY DEFINITION, not because of "lack of consent".

Some guy in Germany was acquitted of murder because the man he killed and ate consented to be killed and eaten.

As I said before, "Who says 'A', says 'B'".

Mutilation is right, or it is wrong. DeSantis hasn't said it's wrong, he says it's wrong BECAUSE CHILDREN CAN'T CONSENT.

Desantis is the most manly politician out there on the Right side of this topic. He is doing good works. He said nothing wrong in the quotes above.

Yours is a false premise.

Being the best politician in American regarding opposition to child mutilation is absolutely NOT evidence of acceptance for adult mutilation.

Also, the 'A says B' stuff sounds kinda common core-ish.

But those not understanding that can learn, understand and agree to less comprhensive arguments against it.
