Thank you. Glad you’re ok. I’ll be fine. It’s just been one thing after another. It started with chills and fever and nausea. The congestion hasn’t been too bad. But it’s there. Then I got Covid mouth. It’s like thrush. I started vomiting and I’m just tired. I am a leukemia and bone marrow transplant patient. I actually feel worse than the first few days. I was taking Z stack but stopped when I couldn’t hold em down around day 6.
Entertainment- wtf.
If you are old like me, “fatigue” is not a symptom. Ditto on aches and pains. Bad sleeping patterns.
Most “symptoms” are just life.

I’m yet to know how I got it. I go no where except to the grocery store. No I didn’t get vax’ed and I don’t wear masks. But, it’s the same as a flu. Actually a flu is worse. Still doesn’t make feeling like crap any better. Hoping at least this will give me some immunity. I’m thinking it hits the weak areas in the body.

I’m asking for help from y’all. I’m thinking back to some posts a while back about something that can be smelled/sniffed that will help with regaining senses of smell and taste.
Our friend is a Chemical Engineer for food, had Covid, lost those senses, and can’t do his job. If there is a suggestion I can pass on to him that would be helpful.

Back in early covid, the medical treatment killed them. They did not treat it early. They sent people home til they couldn’t breathe. They didn’t nebulize or give vitamin and mineral IVs. They didn’t use anti virals. They just waited til the patient had trouble breathing and then put them on ventilators and many died. I’m sorry for your friend. That is horrible. Glad he’s still with us.

My family of four has not been vaccinated. Last year my younger son came down with a nasty case of COVID. Within a few days we were all positive with COVID.
My younger son & my wife were hospitalized. She almost died.
My other son and I were asymptomatic. I had us both tested for antibodies about six months later so I’d know if we had really caught the virus. We were both chock full of COVID antibodies.
A fine and now oft-repeated quote illustrates your supposition.

I am finding that time and patience is "getting back" those around us who became so bamboozled.
