It began with a headache and sore throat one morning at the end of June. Then came a heavy chest that made breathing a struggle, while the headache became so bad that 66-year-old Mio Blagojevic describes it as ‘like having an out-of-body experience’.
The property developer from Hertfordshire adds: ‘I’d never felt so ill. It was like I’d been hit by a bus.’
With symptoms like these, this time last year the instant suspicion would have been Covid. But Mio, a keen runner, and his wife Karen had been fully vaccinated and then boosted in January.
Due to the severity of Mio’s symptoms, even the GP they called for advice did not suspect it could be Covid. They prescribed antibiotics, concluding that it was probably a bacterial chest infection.
Just to be sure, Mio took a lateral flow test. It was positive.
He recalls his shock: ‘We’d been quite careful for most of the pandemic, wearing masks and avoiding many big events. But I was pretty confident that, if I did get it, I would be fine because I’d had my jabs. But I couldn’t get out of bed for days and it took almost a month for me to fully recover.’(snip)
Alison Peek, a 64-year-old nurse, said her bout of Covid – her first despite working in a nursing home during the pandemic – left her in bed for ten days.
Fully vaccinated and boosted, Alison says: ‘The muscle fatigue I experienced was immense. I have never endured anything like it. It wasn’t just tiredness. It felt like I was wading through quicksand.’
This all begs the question: why, more than two years after Covid first appeared, are so many of us suddenly being laid so low?

Never got the shot, never got the covid. UK government says 1 in a little over 400 are dying within a month of getting the shot.
One exposure when a coworker I sat close to in a lab caught it, but I had no symptoms. I did get a free day off on COVID sick leave (which at the time was counted in addition to normal sick leave) while they figured out whether I needed to be tested and what I could do.
Then I attended a 30000 person convention this year and caught it. Two and a half days with a minor fever and some cold symptoms. Pre-COVID I would have probably powered through and gone into work with those symptoms because I had a lot to do. Now they have very strict rules against coming in with a fever.

Hope you feel better soon. I had a real case, but mild compared to what some others are experiencing. I am pretty healthy and active for my age though (nobody ever guesses that I’m 62, they think I’m mid 50s at the latest). My bout was a fever for 36 hrs, and only allergy or cold like symptoms. A mild cough, some fatigue for 2-3 days. I never stayed in bed, but didn’t do my normal active day until the third day. I doubled up in my vitamins and supplements for about 5-6 days. Really hope you’re back at it again soon.

“Covid” is a bad cold or not so bad a cold, depending on your system. The constantly mutating cold virus is a coronavirus and thus no effective vaccine has ever been developed for it.

With all due respect, tell that to friend I have who is facing a lung transplant and will only live 5 to 7 years more—not a smoker, not morbidly obese, etc. but got COVID early on and was in ICU for weeks...

My daughter had 103 fever, and that’s why she tested. We had driven to Little Rock, Are to their epilepsy clinic so my daughter could get an EEG and an MRI.
She had to stay up most of the night before the EEG. They try to invoke a seizure during the EEG. Then she had to have a noisy MRI.
She thought she was feeling bad and had a headache due to lack of sleep and the tests.
She took a nap when we got to my house, and she woke up with a 103 fever. She had a home test and it came back positive. Then she started throwing up.

It’s most likely ADE, a known side-effect of the Covid mRNA ‘vaccines’. The body over-reacts to the virus, often getting as sick, or sicker than it would from Covid.

I likely had COVID in December 2019 long before the epidemic. I had all the symptoms and tested negative for influenza. Fortunately I recovered and had the two jabs. Last May after more than two years of being COVID free l experienced gleneral virus symptoms and went to a local walk in clinic. The doctor thought I had influenza and did the nasal test, but as almost an afterthought she also did aCOVID test. We were both surprised when the influenza test was negative but the COVID test was positive. My second bought with COVID was uneventful and my symptoms were mild and I only need five days of quarantine. Clearly the immunization offered no lasting immunity
The Covid hysteria was a pretext for government, in this case health experts, to condition the masses to surrender individual liberties. The next hysteria will be climate change. The ultimate goal is the the imposition of totalitarian communism. It is heartening that so many of us resisted the social and economic pressure to get the jab. It is not surprising that so many became fanatic advocates. There are a lot of communists among us.
I can’t even finish reading this article. It makes me sick that the powers that be won’t admit or own up to the fact that the jab is doing all this damage. And to top it off it off the drug they now use to treat a covid patient is just as much a waste. The CDC and the FDA are liars.
Yeah, my contractor had to take the jab for job purposes. Yet he hasn’t been to work on my house for 2 weeks because he was recently laid low by COVID and had to stay home first to recover and then a week in quarantine. How about a thousand people line up and embed a vaccination needle in Fauci for bringing this horror to us?
