It began with a headache and sore throat one morning at the end of June. Then came a heavy chest that made breathing a struggle, while the headache became so bad that 66-year-old Mio Blagojevic describes it as ‘like having an out-of-body experience’.
The property developer from Hertfordshire adds: ‘I’d never felt so ill. It was like I’d been hit by a bus.’
With symptoms like these, this time last year the instant suspicion would have been Covid. But Mio, a keen runner, and his wife Karen had been fully vaccinated and then boosted in January.
Due to the severity of Mio’s symptoms, even the GP they called for advice did not suspect it could be Covid. They prescribed antibiotics, concluding that it was probably a bacterial chest infection.
Just to be sure, Mio took a lateral flow test. It was positive.
He recalls his shock: ‘We’d been quite careful for most of the pandemic, wearing masks and avoiding many big events. But I was pretty confident that, if I did get it, I would be fine because I’d had my jabs. But I couldn’t get out of bed for days and it took almost a month for me to fully recover.’(snip)
Alison Peek, a 64-year-old nurse, said her bout of Covid – her first despite working in a nursing home during the pandemic – left her in bed for ten days.
Fully vaccinated and boosted, Alison says: ‘The muscle fatigue I experienced was immense. I have never endured anything like it. It wasn’t just tiredness. It felt like I was wading through quicksand.’
This all begs the question: why, more than two years after Covid first appeared, are so many of us suddenly being laid so low?

In terms of vaccination, we are among the most protected in the world. However, there is still a lot of Covid around."
We got what we paid for.
Gain of Function.
Stop getting the jabs. Stop getting boosters. Accept the fact that you night get it, and that it might be bad or it night not. Live as healthy and active life as you can, and get in with life already.
“Covid” is a bad cold or not so bad a cold, depending on your system. The constantly mutating cold virus is a coronavirus and thus no effective vaccine has ever been developed for it.
Don’t be a media manipulated fool. Check out the flu stats…which mysteriously went from 200,000 cases to 1,829….and see how they manipulated the reporting to make it look like you all were being killed by the common cold.
And then lament all the damage they did to your lives, your families, your children, their futures, your parents and grandparents and their lonely deaths, your churches, your friends, the people you meet at the supermarket every day….and say “Never again.”
Pursue Fauci, Birx and anybody involved with them and make sure they pay the Nuremberg price for their crimes against humanity.
This must never happen again.
The vaxx is screwing up their immunity.
It finally got me. I’m about a week into it. This thing has so many different symptoms I don’t know where to begin. Looking forward to feeling better.
Pureblood.
Think I had it in January of 2020.
Suspect I had it again last June. (There’s a tale tell signature of this virus I’ve never had before where I get an initial bad fever that breaks but then for the next few days I get bouts of mild fever for a few hours)
First time I had a fever of 102 for about 4 days, it broke then I had a fever off an on for about another 5 day of 99.5 to 100.5 and then took another 5 days after THAT before I started feeling normal.
Last June I started feeling bad and got a fever of 101+ for about 24 hours then had the off and on fever for 2 days and was up and running about 2 days after that.
It’s a variant to be sure so there may not be perfect response but my 2nd attack was much less virulent. I’d say my body is working normally.
‘We’d been quite careful for most of the pandemic, wearing masks and avoiding many big events. But I was pretty confident that, if I did get it, I would be fine because I’d had my jabs. But I couldn’t get out of bed for days and it took almost a month for me to fully recover.’(snip)
Therein lies the problem(s).
Probably the majority of the population have experienced the same.
Pretty sure I had back in the very beginning.
“Pink eye” was listed a symptom and I got pink eye.
Never had that in my life and never heard of anyone else I’ve known who’s had it, either.
Got eye drops, felt a little off for a few days.
No jabs, no masks, no compulsive sanitizing, here.
I got the vaccine, but no boosters.
I’ve been exposed twice that I know of. I spent an hour talking to my sister-in-law the day before she tested positive back in January.
Then, 2 weeks ago my daughter tested positive a few hours after I had spent 2 days on a car trip with her where we shared a hotel room. I still did not get it.
The first time I was exposed, I had ivermectin available and took it. The 2nd time, I had quercitin and zinc.
I see the problem.
They didn't get the fourth, fifth and sixth jabs.
Were your sister-in-law and daughter obviously symptomatic?
livius for Holy Roman Emporer!
“We” have NOT all been jabbed...........
“War of the Worlds” in reverse.
the article is a booster ad
You are a COVID-killing playah
it is
I saw a show on polio and they were very happy to get 80-90% effectiveness of the vaccine in the first large scale test group relative to the control group. Control group for a vaccine in double blind testing? Checking for side effects? What the hell is that? We must vaccinate everyone immediately with the very profitable, very experimental vaccine.
