I joined this Forum some 22 years ago in my 20's as a young conservative/libertarian. Now around a half century old. Truly hope some young folks will carry the torch.

Nowadays kids have it so easy. When I was their age, I had nothing but $3 in my pocket. So, what did I do?
I bought a house, started a family, and put the remaining 75 cents into a savings account for emergencies.
The older I get, the earlier it gets late.
I’m pretty old, but one thing i know is that Everyone my age is much older than me...
I’m at the age where I have to make a noise when I bend over. It’s the law.
The older you get, the more you need to keep a fire extinguisher close to the cake.
I remember way back when i was a kid in a poor family- My mother used to make me walk the plank when I was younger, we couldn’t afford a dog.
Doc says to the patient, “You have the body of a twenty-year-old, but you should return it. You’re stretching it completely out of shape.”

R/TheDonald is now
Patriots.win. All the best memes and a great place for conservative news.
Class of 98 here via Drudge. I check FR about 20 times a day and it's one of my desktop homepage sites.

At least the “like” plague hasn’t hit here (that I’ve noticed)...

I’m 32 and some days I wonder if I’m the youngest one here.

"Free Republic is still pretty much an Internet 1.0 site."
Actually, more like a v2.0 site. Original internet (pre-WWW (BBSs)) wasn't near this nice .

Simply hope FR stays fresh with young minds seeking and finding people of similar minds to respectfully contend with and learn from. Amen to that. Won't give my age other than to say I'm too young for Medicare. ;-)

I have never said that to a human but I confess that I have yelled that at a few bears (out here in the boonies). LOL, that's so funny! I've yelled "Get off my lawn!" to a few bears here in our boonies in CT as well. They look up at you, startled -- then run off pretty quickly most of the time. :-D
