Photos of documents that former President Donald Trump flushed down a toilet at the White House have been released.
New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman shared the photos with Axios and posted them to Twitter.
“Trump denied flushing documents as president, as I learned during reporting last year for CONFIDENCE MAN. A Trump White House source recently provided PHOTOS of paper with Trump’s handwriting in two different toilets,” Haberman tweeted.
She added, “On the left is a White House toilet, the word ‘qualified’ and a capital I visible. On the left, a toilet from a Trump trip overseas.
”In another tweet, Haberman noted that “under the presidential records act, documents generated by and sent to presidents are to be preserved by the office.”
She continued, “Trump’s habit of ripping paper that had to be taped back up was known; his habit of discarding them was not.”
Trump spokesperson Taylor Budowich issued a statement to Axios responding to the report.
“You have to be pretty desperate to sell books if pictures of paper in a toilet bowl is part of your promotional plan,” Budowich said.
The statement continued, “We know … there’s enough people willing to fabricate stories like this in order to impress the media class — a media class who is willing to run with anything, as long as it anti-Trump.”
Earlier this year, Axios reported on excerpts from Haberman’s book detailing the incidents where papers were found clogging a toilet in the White House.

As the daughter of a plumber/electrician those photos look completely fake and looks like someone planted them after the fact. Anyone knows, ask ANY plumber, if you flush down too much toilet paper down the drain it will cause a main line, trust me its happened to us many times and also tenants that we have..they flush down all sorts of crap and it causes a main line..now when it comes to paper, if it were to be flushed down and come back up, this particular piece of paper looks too damn clean, not a smudge on it, its been planted no doubt

What businessman of Trump’s stature would even consider disposing of documents by flushing them down the toilet???????
They are idiots if they think anyone deals with stuff that way.
Even I shred mine and then use it to start a campfire, or just flat out burn them after shredding by dumping them on the campfire.
This doesn’t mean much but Trump has a lifetime that was heavy on toilets, he was born into the slumlord/landlord business meaning plumbers, service calls, constant toilet issues, and renter complaints, and spent a lifetime as a builder, and hotel owner/designer, choosing toilets, dealing with toilets, humans/rentals/and toilets, this doesn’t make Trump a plumber but I doubt that he sees the toilet as the magic hole that consumes anything and everything as most regular people do.
It seems like germ phobia Trump would very much dislike having service plumbers enter his home, especially working on the toilet in their plumber work clothes, touching his things, and walking on his floors, my money bet would be that this toilet as document dump couldn’t be routine for him.
But the ultimate purpose may just be to get us talking about it, and thereby looking like idiots ourselves.

I wasn’t aware that he had flushed her. But better late than never, I guess. I’ve view her as more of a poser more often than not. She would do something that I applauded her for,a nd then turn around and do something I would condemn her for.😋

Those are the pictures and about the silliest thing I’ve ever seen. The pieces are tiny, the toilet looks like any toilet, the words on them are meaningless.
Looks like it says “roggers” and the other one looks like maybe counting something. I mean it’s nothing and could have been done by anyone at anytime.
