Franco hangs out with some really suckass people like Seth Rogan et al and is basically a leftist but he sure is versatile. I’ve seen him in so many movies playing everything from saint to sinner and he hits the mark. He has the similar look of Castro, the ability to voice and play it and there’s nothing wrong with him doing the role. Legsqueezezamo can suck it.

This is slightly off-topic, but I think a great movie could be made about Twiggs Lyndon, who was the road manager for the Allman Brothers Band and later The Dixie Dregs. From what I’ve learned about him, he did not lead a boring existence.
Pacino as “Scarface” played a convincing developed Cuban emigre drug criminal. Did a lot of language Spanglish study, with a pretty good Cuban American accent, along with his co-actor (an actual Cuban American, much older now) Steven Bauer.
It is fine to see the Lefties screaming at each other unwinding their limp pretzel logic “minds”.

Since Fidel Castro was white, any latino actor playing Fidel Castro on screen would be committing brutal and insensitive cultural appropriation!
