The person before the parole panel in June 2019 was tall and slim, in far better shape than 81 years of life might have suggested. Mild and polite, the supplicant seemed nothing like the murderer who had spent decades in prison, first for shooting a girlfriend dead in 1963, and then for stabbing another in 1985, stuffing her corpse into a bag and leaving it in Central Park.
“I’m no longer that person,” the inmate told the parole board commissioners. Despite misgivings, they would rule in favor of release.
Two and a half years after leaving Cayuga Correctional Facility, Marceline Harvey was accused again, charged with killing Susan Leyden, 68. Parts of Ms. Leyden’s body were found in March inside a shopping cart in East New York, stuffed in a bag. In Ms. Harvey’s apartment, investigators found a bloody mop, a tub full of towels and a box for an electric saw.

” “I’m no longer that person,”
YES YOU ARE!
“Yet society never seems to get the message.”
The message that society doesn’t get is that they need to elect the people that make the laws that are consistent with their desires. By giving these “leaders/lawmakers” free reign over their safety, voters have allowed the inmates to take over the asylum.
An example is New York gun sales according to the Times Union, where this happened.
“In 2020, the FBI conducted a record 507,940 firearm background checks in New York, and 21 million nationally.”
“Following on the heels of 2020’s record gun sales, FBI pre-sale background checks indicate that New Yorkers are on pace to purchase their second greatest number of firearms since the NICS (National Instant Criminal Background System) check program went into effect.”

The highest was in 2020. So since there aren’t near enough skeet ranges in New York to handle this increase, they must have another reason for buying. But the left doesn’t agree so they put out more gun laws to discourage the purchases and leave citizens unprotected as they, also, cut the police budget Fiscal Year 2021 Budget $125 Million.
It’s not the identification of evil intent, it’s the evil of the law makers to assist it’s completion and blame someone else to protect their jobs thus getting re-elected. The voters have to fix this, not the law makers. Like Ronald Reagan said, “the government is the problem.” And who says they can be there?

“....careful to skirt that issue..”
Maybe he’s correct.
He’s worse.
Really surprised the NYT even ran this story. And, tbh, I too might think letting an 81 year old out wouldn’t lead to more mayhem. I for one won’t be fooled again.
And I will give our no doubt Lefty authors credit for this admirably common sense sentence “A homeless shelter worker and people close to Ms. Leyden questioned whether, despite her gender identity, Ms. Harvey should have been placed in a homeless shelter for women, given her history of attacking and murdering them.”
Sorry, maybe I should read the whole article first, and won’t say this is my last word. But although I had read about this case earlier today I did not realize that this horrible person had already been paroled and killed again. So this is a movie called RECIDIVISM PART DUEX and there are two dead WOMEN because of that.
And let’s face it, this all predates and is un-related to the recent bail reforms, etc.
WHAT A DISGRACE!!!!!!
Sure Ms. Murderer still has the male equipment. I’d bet my last dollar on it. HAHA Maybe I’ll find out as I read the rest of the story
Parole Board chairman : They’ve got a name for people like you H.I. That name is called “recidivism.”
Parole Board member : Repeat offender!
Parole Board chairman : Not a pretty name, is it H.I.?
H.I. : No, sir. That’s one bonehead name, but that ain’t me any more.
Parole Board chairman : You’re not just telling us what we want to hear?
H.I. : No, sir, no way.
Parole Board member : ‘Cause we just want to hear the truth.
H.I. : Well, then I guess I am telling you what you want to hear.
Parole Board chairman : Boy, didn’t we just tell you not to do that?
H.I. : Yes, sir.
Parole Board chairman : Okay, then.
Yeah, exactly. That woman’s blood is on these guys’ hands too. But you know, they probably won’t even have the decency to resign.
Nobody’s resigned in Uvalde, have they? I know the Police Chief gave up the Council seat (whatever it actually is) but pretty sure the others prevailed on him to do that.
That convo probably went like this: The whole town is going to be here for every single meeting if you remain on the Board, and you know we can’t have THAT.
Men who dress like and claim to be women are freaks and typically don’t like women. This event is no shock and those that enable this should be run out of society.
Finally the Democrats have a new candidate to run against Trump in 2024, if he manages to get out. IMO, he can’t do any worse than Obozo or the Big Guy.
Poster person for the Death Penalty if there ever was one.
It is New York, that is how. And he will continue to kill as long as the breath of life is in him. Decent people need to get the hell out of New York yesterday.
You can’t go by age alone. Physical condition should have been considered. Although personally I think this person shouldn’t have been let out.
I’ll bet the whole “trans” thing was a carefully thought out ruse to gain access to vulnerable women.
I favor oxygen displacement with nitrogen as a means of execution. Performed at a time not known by the killer while they are asleep.
It may be their plan. Doesn’t make it sane
Ugh. Purely disgusting story. The he/she talked his way right out of prison, only to murder again.
Execution after the first murder would have saved lives.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>..
Timely and completely justified executions only take place in truly civilized countries, not here in the USA where the government at all levels is controlled by criminals.
