Heart attack: The shower habit that could ‘precipitate’ a heart attack in the 'healthy'
News ^

HEART disease - one of the biggest killers in the UK - is characterised by difficulty pumping blood around the body. Some studies have shown that several habits could trigger an event, one of which may occur in the shower.

Heart attack is understood mainly in terms of its association with other comorbidities (having more than one condition concurrently), such as high cholesterol and hypertension. A sudden halt in blood flow to the heart can dangerously starve the organ of oxygen, although people are still conscious and breathing. One habit in the shower could precipitate the onset of symptoms.

A heart attack also is called a myocardial infarction. The usual cause of sudden blockage in a coronary artery is the formation of a blood clot."

So now we’re going from SADS (Sudden Adult Death Syndrome) to SASS ... Sudden Adult Shower Syndrome? /sarc

How about this ... what did they have in common ... cold showers?

https://stevekirsch.substack.com/p/will-physicians-ever-speak-out

From link:

“Dates of death: July 17, 18, 20.

Look at how close together the dates are! All three died in a 3 day period just days after they gave the 4th shot. All are young doctors. You can see from their pictures. All three at Trillium Health in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada”

“We bought a house with a small recirculation pump at the water heater. What a joy that is!”

Amen to that. Ours was out of order for a couple days. We didn’t think it would be a big deal, but it was.

In the 80s, once or twice a year you would hear of a 90 year old who had a heart attack while taking a cold shower after working in the garden all day. In 2022 it’s so common you have to provide a PSA? Wonder what what new elixir is pulsating through everyone’s veins?

Oh. And enjoy the one sentence paragraphs!
Which then get repeated three and four times.

Thank heaven we have a government to protect us against the ravages of showers. Some reckless people even want to control the water temperature for themselves. That accounts for the thousands of heart attacks we've seen in showers, or it would if we'd actually seen any, which we haven't.

Note, as well, that the word "healthy" apparently means "people with heart disease" in the article. That one's new to me.

Hmmmm...

Liars gotta' lie.

Wonder what else they'll come up with?

Here is the shower habit -

“According to certain experts, exposure to sudden gushes of water could be dangerous for individuals with heart disease.”

[The article is poorly written and takes forever to get to the point. Meanwhile a zillion pop up ads interfere with reading it.]

I wish I could take a cold shower here. By now, the ground has warmed to the depth of the pipes, and we won’t have cool tap water again until late October.

it’s because of cold water quickly shrinking the smaller blood vessels in the body which increases cardiovascular pressure temporarily. Solution: pre-warm your shower.

In the Fleming novels, James Bond always begins the day with a "scalding hot" shower, as hot as he can stand it, followed by an "ice cold" shower, as cold as he can get it.

"Click on this link and watch 25 minutes of pop-up ads to discover that one bad thing people do in the shower that can precipitate a heart attack!"

I hate that kind of headline!

There are quite a few people who go directly from a sauna to ice water bath. They should all be dead.

It’s been a tradition in certain places up North to run into the ocean in the middle of winter. They should all be dead.
