They seem to be on a terror this year.
I have tried Grubex. I have used Mole Max. And I have sprayed castor oil and dish soap.
We've had ton of rain this year and it seems like everything is getting washed away.
Have any tips on trying to reclaim my yard?
[...chewing gum...]
That’s what my mom told me. I didn’t listen, always had colorful poop.
I’ve heard that my maternal grandmother would that tamp down their hills, then put a lawn chair by them, and wait with a .22.
Try it with bubble gum.
And it helps if a person keeps some small treats around for the cat so it will make that person’s yard more of it’s concern.
My cat kills them. I still haven’t seen him do it but he brings them to the doorstep. No moles in my yard.
My rat terrier dispatches moles regularly. Makes a mess with the digging but it’s fun to watch.
A Jack Russel terrier. You might find the moles easier on your lawn, though.
We have been using these worms for years. Works every single time. I get them at tractor supply. We just got our third box. Moles are most active in the spring and fall. Wear gloves. Find a skinny stake just wider than the worm. Find the end of the tunnel. Put the stake down gently, you will feel when you break through into the tunnel. Insert the worm vertically down the hole til it all drops down. Use the stake to gently put a little of the dirt back just to cover the hole and keep out the light. Use flags to mark the end of the tunnel. Walk away quietly and leave things alone. After 3 or 4 days, check. If the tunnel has stopped and there are no new branches take out the flag and stomp down the tunnel. 2 years ago we paid over 400 bucks to have a service come and put down traps. They pulled out 10 over 12 weeks. The next 2 springs we started early with the worms and our lawn has never looked better. You just have to stay vigilant. Good luck. There are sonic devices , typically mounted on a stake that drive the moles away.
Blood meal applied with a spreader. Rose gardeners use it for fertilizer. It works great for about a month. Your lawn will love it.

Specifically a Maine Coon cat.
Years ago I had one - a female named Fluffy.
She would lay motionless on the lawn until she felt the
vibrations of a mole burrowing underground. When she
felt one, she would dig furiously until she came up with
a mole in her mouth.
It was fascinating to watch.
How do you train a Maine coon cat to do this?
Quite frankly, I don't thing you can. They just have to
have the knowledge, will and motivation to do it themselves.
But if you like cats, you could get one and see what happens, I guess.
Large, beautiful long-hair, playful, intelligent cats - and good hunters.
I miss Fluffy.
Just my 2 cents. Good luck with the moles.
husband is trapping.....but I heard once that if you stick a piece of juicy fruit gum down the hole the moles eat it and blow up and die...
Have you tried one of these scary-looking contraptions?

Get rid of the grubs around the property line. Then smoke bomb the ones in the yard.
Hungry cats.
Poison the grub worms that they feed upon.
