Saw SO MANY CA plates, along I-10, on a recent road trip we took, out to west TX. All were heading East, towards Austin and Houston. Several with u-hauls and spouse cars following. :- /

I have a friend...part of a old wealthy family in Portland who have been there for generations. She was living the life she was programmed for...nice house in the right neighborhood, good husband, etc.
Problem is husband wasn’t from Portland and finally decided he was leaving the “shithole” (which Portland has become) with or without her. She cried and cried but they found and bought a house online in The Woodlands outside of Houston. Then they went to see it and suddenly she couldn’t wait to get out of Portland. I get texts from her everyday that they have found paradise, the people are great, the area is wonderful etc etc and she hasn’t looked back once.
I can’t wait to go visit!

She is very conservative - don’t have to worry about her or her husband.
She got some nasty comments from some relatives...one who told her she should “stay and fight for Portland” and her kids would be “right winger red necks”. Saving her kids from the filth in Portland is one of her main reasons for leaving...kids literally had to pass needles and homeless to get into school.

When the wife and I moved from lovely rural IL, Dec 2016 (where I had lived in a 5 mile radius in Mercer County for 62 yrs), we were rolling southbound on I-57 about 50 miles from being out of the state. I remember seeing a state trooper parked in the middle, watching southbound traffic. As I went by with the 26’ u-haul, he looked right at me, probably thinking, “there goes another one”.
This is not something we are going to be able to vote ourselves out of. It is time for REAL MEN to arm up, and drive the homeless into the sea. If police interfere, do what the homeless or BLM does, bring in the women to run interference and chant, maybe point lasers and throw garbage at them. Sorry, it works.
Support the police, sure I do, when they do their jobs. If there are homeless camps in your area, the police are NOT DOING THEIR JOBS. It is therefore incumbent upon citizens to do it for them.
