A US Army medic 'enraged' by the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade has gone viral over her TikTok blasting national leaders for treating 'women like second-class citizens'.
Sgt. Rahasenfratz, in a now-viral rant, questioned how she is supposed to 'defend the Constitution and country' when policy shows it doesn't 'give a rat’s a** about me.'
The medic, whose first name is unknown, just renewed her contract with the Army last month.
She argued that removing federal abortion protections with have an 'unintended consequence' of lessening the retention rates for female military members who already have 'extremely limited access to birth control' and 'are more likely to experience unplanned pregnancies.'
Last month, in the case known as Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, the high court overturned the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling, which guaranteed a woman's right to an abortion.
President Joe Biden on Friday signed an executive order to ease access to abortion services after mounting pressure from fellow Democrats.
The president revealed on Sunday he has also asked his administration to consider whether he has authority to declare an abortion-related public health emergency.
Rahasenfratz posted her now-viral video on June 24, just hours after SCOTUS ruled in a 6 to 3 decision to overturn Roe.
'I am heartbroken. I am enraged. I am terrified,' she captioned the clip, which has now received almost 30,000 likes and over 1,200 comments.
The deployed medic says she learned about the ruling after waking up from a nap and was instantly angered, questioning how she can be expected to fight for a country that she thinks oppresses women.

This entire tantrum on the left is ridiculous. Pregnancy is one of the most preventable conditions — and in many cases, prevention is free.
It’s amazing to me that in this day and age abortion is even a big thing. Modern birth control is highly effective, easy to obtain, and far less expensive and intrusive than a medical procedure after the fact.
I have no sympathy for baby killers who struggle to figure this out.

If she lives in a state that restricts abortion like Alabama, she has three options. #1 - try to persuade people in her state to vote for legislators to legalize abortion in the legislature, #2 - if she needs an abortion, she can fly to a state where abortion is legal so she can have the procedure there, #3 - move to a state where abortion is legal, problem's solved.

By that reasoning we should have let Hitler go at whatever, and let the Japanese bomb whatever the hell they feel like, as the U.S. abortion laws were FAR stricter in 1943. Hitler and Stalin, on the other hand, were rather sanguine about them. (though Hitler didn’t like Aryans being aborted.)

The White House is blasting progressives who “have been consistently out of step” with the Democratic Party amid criticism that President Biden’s response to the overturning of Roe v. Wade has been too little, too late.
The White House defended Biden’s handling of the Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturned the constitutional right to an abortion on June 24, while progressive Democrats have called for a number of responses, including packing the Supreme Court, ending the Senate filibuster, declaring a public health emergency, and launching abortion clinics on federal property.
“Joe Biden’s goal in responding to Dobbs is not to satisfy some activists who have been consistently out of step with the mainstream of the Democratic Party,” outgoing White House communications director Kate Bedingfield fired back in a statement Saturday. “It’s to deliver help to women who are in danger and assemble a broad-based coalition to defend a woman’s right to choose now, just as he assembled such a coalition to win during the 2020 campaign.”
“The president has been showing his deep outrage as an American and executing his bold plan — which is the product of months of hard work — ever since this decision was handed down,” she said. President Biden speaks about inflation and supply chain issues at the Port of Los Angeles, June 10, 2022.
While Bedingfield declined to name the activists, progressive Democrats like Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., have called on the president to do more in the wake of the Dobbs decision.
