Sometimes a girl needs a Sonny Corleone...and sometimes a country.

Rest in peace, James.

My first thought too. I know him primarily from horror films.

Misery was fantastic-probably the best of any King film.

Lady in a Cage is my favorite psychobiddy film.

RIP Mr. Caan. Thanks for all the great performances.
I thoroughly enjoyed his bad guy in “Eraser” with Arnold
But his BEST was Sonny…

It would seem appropriate if he was shot 200+ times at a toll booth.

“Look what they did to my boy!”

Terrible, terrible news. Today is just not a good day for me. RIP James Caan, one of my fave crushes for all time.

Great in Rollerball, also in The Gambler. And loved him in that TV show Vegas or whatever it was called. Just loved him, totally.

I always think of him playing Brian Piccolo in original 1971 movie “Brian’s Song,” with Billie Dee Williams as the late Gale Sayers.

During the 1970s, it was an open competition to see whether Caan or Burt Reynolds would have the most bare-chested moments in their movies.

“...men are allowed to cry at the end of two movies...”

Gotta make it three and include Captains Courageous. Saw that in a re-run in a movie theatre back in the day. At the end everyone was crying, including my friend’s dad who had brought us to the picture!
