History is filled with unintended consequences—Like the War of 1812 for us, or Italy’s war on Greece or Napoleon’s and Hitler’s invasion of Russia. We may well be looking at a new one unfolding before our eyes. The Globo World may well get its face kicked in. European United States may well fall apart—

Nonsense, Nato is a defensive organization that has never posed a threat to a peaceful Russia and they know it. The only reason Russia would be threatened by Nato and would consider it to be a threat is because they are a threat to us.

It was the NED and NDI who did the regime change in Ukraine in 2014

That's when obama 'invaded' Ukraine. Here's my opinion, Ukraine seems so benign, not like the middle east, or some other hot country. What better place to set up a deep state shop. There's a lot more going on that what's being reported on. If you want to be informed as to what's really happening, you are not going to find it on any of the typical websites, not even the so called conservative ones. I'm just lousy as writing it out and appreciate your link.

It should be obvious to everyone that God does not kill people and God does not heal people. God does not intervene in human affairs. Period! If something is unexplainable and you decide to call it the power of God...thats your prerogative. There is no arguing the obvious. Man will do what man will do.

“What’s amazing to me is how many FReepers are going along with the Soros/Nuland/Vindman Globo-Homo script.”

What is your infatuation with homosexuality? You seem to allude to it quite often. Or, is it just another cheap slander the pro-Russia cabal trots out, such as Nazi, or Neocon?

Some of us think an independent and sovereign nation has the right to defend itself against invasion by a larger and stronger neighbor. It’s no more complicated than that. Very few of us think Ukraine will defeat the Russian invasion, but we do think Ukraine will likely win the occupation, just as Afghanistan did in 1988 and 1989. Russia will never subdue the Ukrainian people; there is too much bad blood there.

You cheer on Russia; I get that. Is it because you are so pro-Russia? Or so anti-Ukraine? If Russia attacks, say, Poland (a NATO member), will you be pro-Russia? If, God forbid, the US ends up in a shooting war with Russia, with whom would your allegiance lay? Russia? Or the United States?

They have certainly said they would cheer on Russia if they should ever got to war on us. If I was boss here I would throw them off this site for that.

The distinction is more due to them being on different sides then any actual economic ideological differences. Goebbels when asked to describe the difference between socialism\communism said -” Socialism\communism owns the means of production, we own the man who owns the means of production”.

Nazi - National Socialist, doesn’t have to be Germany. Strip out the antisemitism from German Nazism and it’s a Fascism - a German Fascism but a Fascism, nonetheless.

Fascism an ‘ism’ that was the competing with Communism as the new “next thing” in the world during the 1920s-1930s. It too was loved by ‘intellectuals’ and academics. Spain had the Falange Party, Portugal Estado Novo Party both stayed in power until the 1970s. The UK had British Union of Fascists (BUF), their leader Oswald Mosley. A BUF or something similar kept a member in Parliament until sometime in the 1950s. I find that amazing! Churchill called Mosley during the early 1930s the most important rising young politician in the UK. He did not mean that in a good way! Sun Yat Sen’s Kuomintang Party was certainly nationalist and socialist enough for Stalin initially to prefer them over Mao’s home-grown Communist party. There are other examples. Then there is the Russian Communist Party after the Trotsky purge and Stalin initiated his “Socialism in One Country” deemphasizing support of international communist\socialist revolutions. One could credibly argue this was national socialism too.

The differences are only important to the true believers - these Utopians. It certainly makes no difference to the piles of corpses they leave behind. Utopianism and its adherents do that kind of thing!

While an old acquaintance of Ted Olson, I was a friend of Barbara Olson, who was involved here on FR early on, who as you know, we lost on September 11, 2001, when AA Flight 77 flew into the Pentagon, a short time after a confrontation between Barbara Olson and HRC, where Barbara swore she would expose Clinton relationships with Moscow and Beijing, and related FSB, MSS, and (what is an FSB/GRU and MSS controlled) SABIN infilled global mafia, and HRC threatened to end the Olson family.

(I personally would never have had anything to do with him, but Barbara was on her way to a scheduled interview with Bill Maher’s PI.)

And all this after her husband Ted (and his team) lawfully took out Al Gore at SCOTUS.

While a friend of Barbara, I was first introduced to FR after most of a decade in Moscow, when one of my team and I were working on a very short lived project involved at a RIA Novosti (FSB) office in Moscow.

To your point of officers on FR, our “tag” in Moscow was an FSB LT, and we saw (a few times), they had rooms of people scanning and or following/interacting the full social media spectrum, as well as global email accounts. We could see FR up on screen. This was my first glimpse of FR.

So, in a perverse kind of way, you could say my first exposure to FreeRepublic was from an FSB officer in Moscow.

The same people were apparently tasked to FR, as we saw these same people scanning on FR a few times. The license and strategy to gain acceptance on more conservative sites, was to communicate religiosity, and even foreign born US patriotism, and to build accounts and rapport. It was easy.

The draw of FR for me were initially several American uniformed friends of mine in 1997 and later in 1998, as well as the cross section of current and retired uniformed personnel, who knew who our enemies were, both foreign and domestic. FR is nothing like it was back then. FR has clearly spiralled as our society has spiralled.

My original screen name was silent, lost, then taken by another Freeper.

God allowed the Assyrians and Babylonians to destroy ancient Israel and Judah. What makes us so special?

Excellent point.
We have pride month, sodomy is legal, we kicked God out of our schools and our culture.
He can allow us to be squished like a bug.

He only promises a remnant.

Don’t think for a minute you are exaggerating. We are already in debt to our eyeballs and we can not pay off any principle. Because we are always spending with budget deficits which are now $3 Trillion now. And our Debt is 30% Bigger than GDP.

Ukraine was a key invasion route for what army?

Oh, the Nazi army - the one we and the USSR eliminated almost 80 years ago. Please wake up. The only reason why Ukraine wanted to join NATO is because of Russian aggression against its neighbors.

Russia exported communism around the world and supported terrorist states and totalitarian regimes. But that’s okay with you.

Since when are sovereign nation states that join NATO a threat to Russia. USSR was an agressive despotic state with globalist Marxist expansion ambitions by its Bolshevik leaders that wanted the destruction of the USA, the breakup of NATO and a Soviet world order up until 1992.

NATO is an alliance to guard against Russian expansion and threats of aggression against Europe and the west. Of course Russia hated the alliance! Screw what Russia felt and wanted. The alternative was we’d all speak Russian!

The Soviet Kremlin didn’t like competition for supremacy in eastern Europe. They considered NATO expansion a threat to their power and influence, not their sovereignty.

Had nothing to do with globalism, but everything to do with keeping the serfs and sheep in line that dared having dreams of escaping to Europe, the west and freedom. The Communists could only keep power by fear, panic, controlling information and a police state that jailed/killed political dissidents... not by self government, a democratic model and free elections.

Soviet Russia feared its own people and losing control of keeping them brainwashed and obedient to the Soviet regime, not the globalists.
