Although my friend has closed the deal, they haven’t moved yet. So, I have the gift ready.
The riddle is a combination of all three.
I have finally gotten around to a reupholstery project started about two years ago. I only have a little left on it. The challenge is working with this metal stuff called pli-grip. It consists of a strip of metal which grips the fabric and pulls it shut. You basically fold it over with the fabric in between. I was working with it last night, placing the fabric, pushing the pli-grip closed and then using a leather mallet to close the metal tightly. Wham! My index finger was pushing the fabric in as the mallet came down. Those metal teeth went right through my finger nail.
The nail was bleeding and I was hollering and dancing around. Fortunately, I didn’t bleed on the fabric. But now that my toe is almost healed, I have injured another appendage. Ouchie-wah-wah!
Well, some beds don’t even have legs, so that’s another twist. Is the puzzle in the word “ground” rather than floor. Ground is actually out of doors.
That’s one trouble with this type of riddle. There are so many possibilities with the terms and we’re not given enough information to have only one correct answer.

Would I remember The chair or the sofa? Was it in the living room or in the family room. You had so many interesting pieces of furniture from your family and of your own that I can see where there might be some projects involved
We left the camp Sunday. Busy at the Legion. Hubby saved the Legion about $1000 when he repaired the Legions kitchen exhaust fan. He did it for 10 dollar parts. Now he’s putting up steel siding on the pole barn.

No, I don’t think you would. It is a wing chair not out on public view. There are two pieces of living room furniture scheduled for reupholstery, a small loveseat and a rocking chair. But those are for after I do this much more challenging wing chair. My finger hurts to move. Pressure, such as typing, is quite painful.
