The infant Waylon is doing well Bush said, and weighed in at 6 lbs 8 oz. If only the baby had been 7 lbs 11 oz!

I learned this overseas. It doesn't remove the air but it comes close and it seals. It takes a bit of skill to get the seal correct.

Put your stuff in a waterproof bag. We often use zip locks, but a sleeve of plastic sealed in this way at one end. The open end will be sealed in the following method:
1. Light a candle. The need for this will be clear later.
   
2. Close the bag most of the way OR fold the open end over itself three times.
3. Immerse the bag (bucket, bathtub, whatever) into a sink full of water allowing air to escape.
   
4. Finish closing the bag.
   
5. Hold the newly closed end taut.
   
6. Then, hold the closed end in the invisible flame of the candle which is an inch or two above the visible flame. This part is tricky because too close and you'll melt the plastic all over your fingers and that hurts! Too far away and the plastic won't melt. There is also a risk of dangling the entire bag in the flame and that's no good at all.
   
7. As the folded plastic melts, pinch the plastic together quickly so that it pushes the sides together, BUT you don't burn your fingers.

This is a developed skill. It is easier to demonstrate than to write about. We used it in '95 when I first arrived in the jungle. I haven't used it in about 20 years.

Now what I want to say several hours ago after my inability to figure out my computer!

We in our Community lost a very good person on July 12th.

Our Community in Hallsville and Marshall Texas are grieving for the loss of a good man Johnny Horne,owner of Cajun Tex restaurants of Marshall and Hallsville!

He raises and gives so much to our locals in every way!
He and his Wife gave so much over the years and as recent as of May in fundraisers for them.

The sad part is this great giver to so many took his own life July 12.

We are all so shocked and saddened that many of us that thought we know him ,had know idea idea of his struggles of depression.

God Bless Johnny Horne and his sweet wife Donna and their children.

May We all never take anyone ,even those so giving they are okay.
