Oldie but goodie. Psychic Medium Matt Fraser who communicates with the dead goes on a live show, reads one of the hosts and says something shocking on air about a "child" with the grandmother who passed away..
For the first 3 minutes, he communicates and explains the grandmother of one of the hosts on the "other side"
UNTIL the 3:05 mark "oh yeah, she's cradling this child in her arms.." and that's when the host has the look of "God, please cut into commercial"
No, the “hit”refers back to the name of the technique, “the shotgun method”. By the way, I didn’t make that name up. That’s what it’s called.
While I’m at it, permit me to add something to my post #10. As I mentioned earlier, I think Fraser is running a scam. But that’s not such a big deal if no one gets hurt.
The problem is that people do get hurt. They give these kinds of guys huge amounts of money to connect to dead relatives. And in return they get nothing but lies. Just another swindle.
(Sorry to be a downer here. Perhaps I should have mentioned a general warning about this sort of thing, and nothing more.)
Nah, it’s cool. But why dont you prove he’s wrong and a scammer by contacting him, getting it on video, telling him you’re a skeptic because I heard he loves dealing with skeptics. There’s nothing wrong with being skeptical.
Almost everyone has a family story somewhere along the line about a miscarriage or death of a baby.
I’m agnostic though I fear a holy God, as I should.
What this video reminds me is if I ever meet God He will be cradling righteousness and I will have nothing to say. I will be convicted. Just like this woman. My sins will be different, not less condemning.
For those who believe this is where Christ intercedes.
You are right. It could have been so.
Max, what single hint is there in this story indicating that the woman ever had an abortion, or that the baby the ‘psychic’ claimed to see was aborted at all?
I’d feel very irresponsible making inferences like these based on almost nothing.
Realization comes in strage ways sometimes.
That would be better read as “God works in mysterious ways”.
For whatever it is worth...
Some degree of this type of ability runs in my family, and I find it very confusing as a devout Christian. I have decided that it isn’t necessarily satanic, as God had far more powers than we can comprehend, and we need not condemn ourselves for talents that seem to be inborn.
That said, it also seems very clear that God does not want us to “play God” with these talents, use these talents for personal profit, and lead the vulnerable to follow false idols, instead of trusting in God himself.
There are so many false “prophets”, mediums, astrologers, card readers, etc. out there, and we shouldn’t frequent them, particularly if they are not true followers of Christ, and charge people money.
esus just might get out his whip and toss their tables around!
> Thanks for the heads up. <
You’re welcome. Years ago I took a course in statistical analysis, and for some reason the professor included a section on the mathematical analysis of scams. It was the best part of the course, and where I learned about the “shotgun method”.
By the way, sometimes scammers will decide that a high probability of guessing correctly isn’t good enough. They want a 100% success rate. So they’ll put associates in the audience whose only job is to listen. Some lady will mention that her dog Fluffy just died. The associate will note that, then pass it along to the scammer.
Then the scammer will say, “Someone here just lost a beloved pet. I believe it was a dog named Fluffy.”
Pretty clever, huh?
For those who believe this is where Christ intercedes.
This.
Yes. I’ve read that a lot of these people use surreptitious methods of learning facts about the people they ‘read’ beforehand.
I believe that some people possess intuitive faculties that can border on what we call ‘ESP’. But I doubt that the genuine ones are making themselves into circus-type sideshows.
But that depends on your point of view my good FRiend. I like the way you say it too.
The look on her face when he said, “Even if a child has not been able to be born, their soul still passes on to be with loved ones.”
She knew. And she knew somehow that he knew.
> Nah, it’s cool. <
Thank you for your understanding. It was not my intention to hijack your thread. But I might have done a little of that anyway.
> But why dont you prove he’s wrong and a scammer by contacting him... <
Along those lines, a magician by the name of The Amazing Randi offered a one million dollar prize to any psychic whom Randi could not prove wrong. No one was ever able to collect.
Sadly, Randi has passed on. It would have been interesting to see him go toe-to-toe with Mr. Fraser.

The co-host could have known Erica had a miscarriage and ratted her out to the psychic before the show.
That could especially have been the case is if the miscarriage were very recent, and would account for her apparent shock, too.
I am not a psychic. I do read people. I don’t take money for this service. Sometimes people need a little push in a direction which serves them. I help people discard thoughts, actions, beliefs which do not serve the greater good and enhance those that do. This is not a sin.
So lighten up Francis, there is more than one way to speak in a beneficial manner to the soul.
> Sometimes people need a little push in a direction which serves them. <
I agree with that completely! For example, some folks need help with their self-confidence, or to get over the grief of losing a loved one. My problem is with the scammers, those people who deliberately use parlor tricks to deceive.
> So lighten up Francis... <
Pity you had to resort to a personal insult at the end. It doesn’t bother me. I’ve been called much worse. But such remarks can weaken your overall argument.
There is nothing incorrect in Leaning Right’s posts about this. Psychic scammers and their methods are known.
That doesn’t take anything away from any decent use you may make of your own intuition.
So you really think he contacts the dead??
