i want everyone to pay attention to this key statement
“There have been several case reports in the literature describing inflammatory myopathies occurring after immunization with vaccines like MMR vaccine, influenza, Bacillus Calmette-Guerin, and human papilloma virus vaccine”
I am not anti vax. I am in the category that if you get a vax and come up with weird stuff that happens to your body be sure to alert Drs to the vax and keep it up if they blow it off.
I am vaccinated with one booster. I've never had covid, unless it was a very mild case that was barely noticeable. I stopped taking extra precautions a year ago. A year in which I've taken multiple trips to other states and travelled around California.
If my personal story was evidence, it would go the opposite way. But personal anecdotes aren't evidence.
You and I are allergic to mRNA.
Thanks for info, scary!
You’re not letting Covid stop you or slow you down. That’s a good thing! Carry on! :-)
Now you know! You have data for a better informed decision in the future! :-)
YOU did! :-D
That's tagline material :-)
Hope you are able to find something that gives you relief. I’ve been taking Piroxicam for several years without issues. It doesn’t get rid of the inflammation completely, but when I’ve had to stop taking it before surgeries, I realize just how much it does help.
Thanks outofsalt...your get well wishes are greatly appreciated!!
I did about 7 round trip US flights during the two year lockdown time and did not get sick once.
Of course you knew about it already! You golfers do take your golf seriously. :)
that one is an alternative to meloxicam but still has the ace inhibitor diuretic issue.
I am going to have to search around. I am going to try to take it as little as possible after a 7 day course of it.
Good luck RummyChick!
What is causing your need for a Cox2 inhibitor?
horrible arthritis flare up. Once I can get water on the knee to go down I am going off it.
That publication also aligns with my own personal experience and paying attention to friends and family who got vaxxed vs. those that did not.
The "vaccines" actually made it EASIER to contract covid, not harder!
I had a head cold a few days ago. Stuffy head and snotting and dripping. Didn’t get tested and won’t. All better today.
It seems to have been attributed to a silent movie star named Nell Morgan, but it might have been attributed as a disparaging insult.
"The Chestnut Burr was the Kent State University student-produced yearbook, published from 1914 through 1985. There was no yearbook published in 1920."
Full text of "Chestnut Burr, 1921" internet archived here.
Nell Morgan, after applying gasoline to her face, "Oh, vanity where is thy sting."
This statement casually written in the Kent State yearbook in 1921 about a student there must have been a reference kiped from popular culture of the time.
It makes me wonder who first said it because I have heard it or seen it a few times through my almost seventy years.
It sounds like something one of the Algonquin Round Table clowns would have come up with.
I now suspect that a different Nell Morgan was just a student at Kent State.
