Today, loyalty to the nation is again being questioned.
As the Pelosi-Thompson-Cheney circus rolls on in D.C., signals are given that the Democrats, have their sights set on more than just the former President.
Obviously, the primary purpose of the pseudo-hearing is twofold: Destroy Trump and keep January Sixth alive, until November.
Recently retired judge Michael Luttig, said the quiet part out loud:
“Donald Trump and his allies and supporters are still a clear and present danger to American democracy,”
The comment harkens back to the McCarthy era hearings and guilt by association. Once a communist always a communist has now turned to ‘Once a Trumper, always a Trumper.’
We can only imagine what lies ahead.
Seventy-four million Americans, committed no crime in voting for Trump, but are now considered to be a threat the country, just as were the McCarthy era communists.
That raises the question; what to do with these 74 million reprobates?
The treatment of the Jan 6ers in D.C. confirms the Democrats are not interested in following standard legal procedures. Solitary confinement, horrible food, beatings, no showers or shaves, rarely allowed outside, overflowing toilets, cockroaches, no bail, and rare lawyer visits are deemed to be acceptable treatment.

I agree. A lot of us just want to be left alone and in peace. However…most of us are retired military who served for a purpose. Every time they try to cram the socialist/communist agenda down our throats, the closer we get to the breaking point. There is going to be a snap one day, and then it will be indiscriminate warfare. I may be older, but I’m up to the task.
Trump lowered taxes, reduced regulations, and started to build the wall. I will always vote for him.

I did not see McCarthys name being used as a pejorative by the author. It looked to me that he was referring to how the left uses his name as a pejorative when it has been shown that he was right.

Sounds to me like this retired judge Luttig is part of the clear & present danger; not Donald Trump. Some folks have such a short memory. I remember how it was under Donald Trump & am constantly reminded how it is now & perhaps because I am elderly, I cannot ever remember such a horrific change in our country as when Joe Biden became our president. Not ever before has it become so bad so soon as it has since Biden was elected.
Note how the tables have turned. During the McCarthy years, communists, who did want to destroy America, were made out to be victims by the Democrats. Now those same communist leaning Democrats are trying to take the heads off of real Americans who just want to MAGA.
BTW, I looked at your page at American Thinker and enjoyed your article from 2016 on the search for the perfect BBQ recipe. I also have a search for the Best BBQ and best hamburger in my area and try to duplicate them or improve on them :( . They equate “democracy” with “communism” where the masses can vote to take from the productive. I think they are absolutely right. MAGA is a threat to the dream of a future “Democratic People’s Republic of the USSA” where the productive are voted into slavery to the majority (now increasing majority with open borders) nonproductive. They don’t realize that Atlas will shrug.
