Feds Raid the Home of Former Trump DOJ Official Who Wanted to Investigate Allegations of Voter Fraud

In a pre-dawn raid Wednesday, armed federal law enforcement agents searched the home of Jeffrey Clark, a former Trump Justice Department official who has emerged as a central figure in the partisan House Select Committee’s investigation into the January 6 riot.

Clark’s name was expected to come up in the Jan. 6 Committee hearing on Thursday.

He served as acting assistant attorney general for the Civil Division during President Trump’s final months in office, where he was the only official willing to investigate credible allegations of fraud.

In a tweet back in March, Clark explained why he has been targeted by the regime.

“I’m a former Trump DOJ official who (like you) was concerned about the 2020 election,” he explained. “Now I’m one of the top targets of the politically motivated J6 Committee.”

My name is Jeff Clark, hated by the Left.

Clark allegedly met directly with the White House to discuss allegations of voter fraud “rather than going through proper channels,” Fox News reported.

According to previous testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Trump considered appointing Clark as attorney general after former AG William Barr showed no interest in pursuing voter fraud allegations after the election, but several top Justice Department officials reportedly threatened to quit, leading Trump to cancel the plan.

The committee subpoenaed Clark in October, and he reportedly invoked the Fifth Amendment more than 100 times during his interview.

Russ Vought, former Office of Management and Budget director and president of the Center for Renewing America, where Clark is a fellow, released a statement Thursday condemning the raid.

“The new era of criminalizing politics is worsening in the US. Yesterday more than a dozen DOJ law enforcement officials searched Jeff Clark’s house in a pre-dawn raid, put him in the streets in his pajamas, and took his electronic devices,” Vought said in the statement. “All because Jeff saw fit to investigate voter fraud. This is not America, folks.“

In an interview earlier this month, Clark said he had no involvement with January 6 “in any capacity,” but did want a “thorough investigation” into allegations of voter fraud.

“This whole hearing process is a Kangaroo Court with no adversary designed to destroy its targets,” Clark told Steve Bannon on June 10.

The Republicans 29% lead in the polls are making the left real nervous.

Don’t you think their heads will explode more if conservative policies are actually adopted by the United States government?

That will only happen if the person actually occupying the Oval Office is conservative.

Protection against the government is really not possible.

It IS possible, but requires a few million determined citizens who value freedom over personal comfort. Unfortunately, I’m not sure we have enough Americans remaining who fit that description.

It’s because of the “good men doing nothing” about encroaching evil that we’re in the mess we are in today. Too many didn’t want to disrupt their cushy lives by actually fighting for the freedoms that their forebears fought and died to provide to them. The excuses are legion, and I’ve seen many of them offered up on this very site. We should be ashamed.

There’s no excuse for naked, rampant tyranny to be allowed to continue in America, WHATEVER it takes to end it.

Not really. At this point Trump is living in their head so bad, he could enact policies *THEY* like, and their heads would still explode. They hate him with an irrational hate, and that is exactly why we need to shove him down their throats.

I know you are being serious, and i'm only half serious, but I think it is still a valid point.

They hate Trump, and I can think of no person who will do more to actually go after them with criminal charges than Trump will this next go around.

DeSantis won't have Trump's motivation to exonerate himself because let's face it. Trump has always been ego. Everything he has ever done in his life is ego driven.

What I want more than anything is to see the people who rigged this last election go to prison. I want that. At this point I will take that over any conservative polices, because I think in the long run more good will be done by re-establishing the rule of law and fair elections.

Plus I think a lot of those people going to prison will severely undercut the Democrat power block.

But they only go to prison if a conservative is in the Oval. If Trump is the nominee and gets 49% of the vote that won’t happen. And I don’t think he can persuade 50%+1 of the country to vote for him.
Do you?

If Trump is the nominee and gets 49% of the vote that won’t happen.

If we don't stop the fraud, whoever we pick is going to get 49% (or less) of the vote.

And I don’t think he can persuade 50%+1 of the country to vote for him.Do you?

Yes. I think he did it the first time. The evidence shows he did it the first time.

Stop the fraud, and he probably won the greatest landslide in American history.

"What was he arrested for? I must have missed it in the article."

That is also my question. The classic "5 w's" of journalism: Who, what, where, when, and WHY?

So in other words, Jeff Clark would have been and still would be an excellent choice for Attorney General.

let's face it. Trump has always been ego. Everything he has ever done in his life is ego driven.

It wasn't ego when he fought the town of Palm Beach in the 1990s to overturn their regulations so that he could admit blacks and Jews to his Mar-a-Lago club.

It wasn't ego when he gave $1 million dollars and spearheaded efforts to build a Vietnam Veterans memorial in New York City in 1985. He was quoted as saying he had opposed the war, but he also recognized the sacrifices of the troops and wanted them recognized. He was 38 years old at the time.

It wasn't ego in 1986 when he read that a family farmer had committed suicide because he could no longer afford his mortgage, and Trump paid off the $300K mortgage on behalf of the widow and children.

It wasn't ego when he again fought Palm Beach city council in 2007 to allow him to fly an oversized American flag on his own property, and donated their $1000 a day fines to veterans' organizations.

It wasn't ego when he did whatever necessary to free 17 or 18 Americans held in prisons in foreign countries whom Obama had been ignoring, both before his presidency and during.

I could go on, pointing out that your "everything" claim is a slur and a lie....

Biden’s people are out of control thugs.

The reason for the heavy handed arrests is to intimidate ... Commie thugs like Stalin would be so proud.

Garland, Kerry, Biden, Soros, and Bernie hunger to grind the boot into the faces of a free people.
