"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.

When I was a little kid, I was fascinated by the "war trophies" that relatives had brought back. Something I picked up from that loose collection was just how many Eastern Bloc (and some Western European) nations and regions had enough eager volunteers for the Third Reich to warrant special volunteer insignia to be made for military and "auxiliary police" uniforms. From A to Z (or at least Armenia to Ukraine), there were a bunch of them.
