I encourage you all to write the CEO of Walmart (doug.mcmcmillon@walmart.com). I sent a copy to Mr. Lindell (fishsnager@yahoo.com) as well. I realize many of us are not going to be able to avoid spending money at Walmart; but, we can sure quit spending some of it there! Here is my email to the CEO of Walmart:
Dear Mr. McMillon,
I would like to remind you: "There is only one boss. The customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else." - Sam Walton.
By making a political "woke" decision you have alienated the majority of your customer base. Your own demographics show that base to be majority conservative. You've made these decisions before based on your political philosophy rather than what is good for your business and good for your customers. This time you've made a really bad one. Your job is to sell good products for a fair price, not to sift through the politics of your vendors to see if they agree with you or not.
My Pillow makes quality products at a good price. Yes, I know, you have left it on your website store. That's not enough. Mr. Walton also said, "Exceed your customer's expectations. If you do, they'll come back over and over. Give them what they want - and a little more." A good manager also admits when they have made a poor decision. Reverse course and quickly.
I will not be buying any Walmart products that compete with Mr. Lindell's. No more towels, blankets, jammies, slippers, pillows, or any other item in his catalog. And I will be actively working to convince others to do the same.
I have shopped at Walmart since Mr. Walton started his business in Arkansas. He would not approve.
On website?
Can’t one buy it online and pick it up in person?
“My Pillow makes quality products at a good price.”
We bought two at a Costco demonstration. NOT CHEAP!
Ended up in trash.
+1
Also Kohls!
They had the nerve to send me an email announcing their ‘gay pride’ month!
We love ours…..even take them when we travel
Not many walmart shoppers can a afford mypillow anyway.
“I would like to remind you: “There is only one boss. The customer.”
And the typical customer does not walk out with $30 lumpy pillows.
I have no problem with this. I have removed Walmart and Sam’s Club from the businesses who have me as a paying customer. Works for me.
I believe you included one too many Mc's in the email address. Should be doug.mcmillon@walmart.com, I think.
Mike Lindell’s email is: michaeljlindell.com
I bought mine directly from My Pillow and absolutely LOVE it! And I actually bought it for less money than the Costco Brand X pillows.
You didn’t buy MyPillows then; must have been fake labeling. Have several and none of them are lumpy even after very many washes.
That’s a website, not an email address.
It’s all about money. If they were making money, it would not happen.
I suggest never shopping at the store again...ever.
“You didn’t buy MyPillows then; must have been fake labeling.”
They were at a special COSTCO presentation. Not fake labeling.
I haven’t set foot in a Walmart in over 14 years.
Truth for me is that I actually like the My Pillow. Some people do not, but I haven’t had a sore neck since I bought one. I spent many a dollars trying to find a pillow that didn’t give me a sore neck. This actually worked.
That said, they are pricey and if you buy them online the price isn’t too bad but you get reamed with the shipping costs.
This is the reason I have not bought another one. Mike needs to understand that many people can’t keep paying those prices over and over.
