A pregnant Missouri woman who was found dead at her home on Thursday was allegedly beheaded by her ex-boyfriend.
KMOV reported that Liese Dodd, 22, was discovered dead at her Alton home after her mother came to check on her. Deundrea Holloway, 22, was accused of beheading Dodd and discarding her head in a dumpster.
Dodd — who was due in mid or late July — had been in an on-and-off relationship with Holloway for the past two years, according to KMOV.
“She was savagely killed. She was decapitated,” Alton Police Chief Marcos Pulido said.
Holloway was arrested in Gillespie, Illinois. He is charged with first-degree murder, intentional homicide to an unborn child, dismembering a human body, motor vehicle offenses, and concealment of a homicide death. His bail was set at $2 million.
Authorities have not yet publicly disclosed a motive.
“We believe the evidence will show that the defendant’s gruesome actions here killed both a young woman and the child she carried in her womb,” Madison County State’s Attorney Thomas Haine said in a statement.
“In the eyes of the law, both these killings are equal and he will now face justice for both.”
She didn’t deserve it, but he also didn’t one day decide to cut off her head. She probably had several experiences where he beat her. The moment he laid an unlawful hand on her should have been her understanding that he was capable of killing her and she should be getting.
Maybe she didn’t have anywhere to go?

A young woman growing up with these ads buys the product and the lie.
