Google opted against highlighting the 78th anniversary of D-Day on its search engine’s “Google Doodle” on Monday, choosing instead to present an animation celebrating the birthday of Angelo Moriondo, the investor of the espresso machine.
“Today’s coffee-stained Google Doodle is in honor of Angelo Moriondo, the Italian innovator who created the espresso machine,” noted 9to5Google of the search engine’s accompanied espresso-themed animation. The Masters of the Universe completely ignored that June 6 is also the anniversary of the D-Day invasion, a pivotal moment of World War II

Google always snubs the US and it’s foundation.
I didn’t hear about no God at the Queen’s Jubilee either I can’t imagine that would have happened 100 years ago.
Well, If it wasn’t for DDay there would be no Google.
You guys only look at the Google Doodle to get mad don’t you? It’s always focused on the obscure not the obvious.
well lah dee dah!!
that machine sure took 18000 parachute troops to become free, right?
Google hates the country whose system provided the means for it to become prosperous.
Will someone investigate how google changes your searchstring and “tweeks” results?
Well, If it wasn’t for DDay Google would be Googleheimer.
But D-Day was an allied operation, with British and Canadian forces as well as American. And D-day was launched to liberate an occupied Europe.
Google would celebrate being part of the Nazi Empire
“ that machine sure took 18000 parachute troops to become free, right?”
In the Normandy region in the Catholic Churches where the stained glass windows have images of paratroopers in action like angels from the sky. I’ve seen them.
Whatever.
Duh, their side lost. What's to commemmorate?
Google libtards are almost certainly too ignorant to even know what D day was 🤪
Bing usually does a better job than Google with this thing. However, Bing disappointed today. I just looked. Their home page had a picture of some bird. But they did have a D-Day link near the bottom.
Google gets an F.
Bing gets a D+.
PHOOEY to woke and oppressive Google!!!!
Which has no bearing on the fact that Google Doodles are aimed to the obscure. Everybody already knows about D-Day. It’s really a form of advertising, the Doodle is reminding user they can search all kinds of odd junk on Google. Like the birthday of the guy that invented the espresso machine.
I’ve never heard of 95% of those individuals they feature on that Doodle. It’s usually some person that was born 174 years ago that we’re supposed to ‘celebrate’. Totally obscure. I never click on it. Don’t have time to waste on crap.
I do enjoy espresso though.
They never miss an opportunity to shove anything homo into our faces.
I click on a lot of them. I like odd facts that add nothing to my life.
