Which has no bearing on the fact that Google Doodles are aimed to the obscure. Everybody already knows about D-Day. It’s really a form of advertising, the Doodle is reminding user they can search all kinds of odd junk on Google. Like the birthday of the guy that invented the espresso machine.

Obscure - like the doodle they had of some obscure fag the other day. Click on his doodle and you got an animated parade sashaying across your screen. Missed an opportunity to have done something similarly cool for a major event of world history today. Interested to see what if anything there might be for the 4th of July, but not optimistic since Google is infested with belligerent queers and idiots.
