A journalist who says he spent years researching and investigating Jeffrey Epstein has posted a lengthy Twitter thread in response to SpaceX and Tesla founder Elon Musk’s call over the weekend for the media to publish the names of Epstein’s victims and client list.
Adam Davidson’s responses came after Musk on Saturday tweeted a meme that said, “Things I’ll never see in my life,” along with photos of a fire-breathing dragon, a unicorn, a dinosaur, and the Jeffrey Epstein/Ghislaine Maxwell client list.”
“Only thing more remarkable than DOJ not leaking the list is that no one in the media cares. Doesn’t that seem odd?” he noted in the meme tweet

That's been my hypothesis, along with trying to guess who the beneficiaries of such knowledge might be,

Society has a duty to protect the young from exploitation. A 14-year-old would only prostitute herself or himself out of desperation. There could exist an exception to this, in some extreme circumstances, when a 14-year-old only has sexual deviants for role models.
You are defending not a single act of sex with someone underage but a pattern of behavior that amounts to kidnapping, human trafficking, extortion, blackmail, buying and selling political favors, and much darker behavior, apparently even including murder.
When people become desensitized and callous toward the harm their sexual proclivities cause others, they tend to go to greater extremes. It is a fact that sexually deviant, rich and powerful people pay to torture and murder children.
That’s not what Epstein got caught doing, but he is part of something much bigger that the Deep State is fully aware of and does nothing to stop. If they aren’t trying to stop it, it is reasonable to assume they are part of it.
Further, once you reject God’s laws regarding sex, you make yourself part of a system in rebellion against God, bringing destruction on yourself and those under your influence or authority.
We can see very plainly how a society is safer, happier, and more productive when the traditional family model based on lifelong monogamous marriage is followed. Our society is where it is today morally because of the underlying rebellion against God.

Many 14-year-old girls want and like sex. Girls and women are attracted to wealthy, powerful males.
Girls mature at different rates, there is a bell curve. Some girls are very mature very early, others mature late.
Christianity did much to protect young women so they would bond to a lifelong mate.
In many tribal societies, this was not the case.
Our civilization has been very successful, in part, because it fought these natural proclivities.
Children have to be taught to be moral, they are not born that way.

Where are we disagreeing?
Your earlier comments sounded like minimizing Epstein’s actions. Perhaps you were merely pointing out the possibility that some of these underaged girls were seduced rather than forced to have sex against their will. And that is a real possibility.
If you compare teenage girls being seduced or manipulated by a billionaire pervert with someone who kidnaps toddlers from playgrounds to rape and kill, then Epstein’s publicly-known crimes are less evil. That does not make them okay. They’re still hideous. It wasn’t clear from your earlier comments if you thought this shouldn’t be treated as a crime.
We also really don’t know all of the evil things he was part of involving sex crimes that are not publicly known.
