Society has a duty to protect the young from exploitation. A 14-year-old would only prostitute herself or himself out of desperation. There could exist an exception to this, in some extreme circumstances, when a 14-year-old only has sexual deviants for role models.
You are defending not a single act of sex with someone underage but a pattern of behavior that amounts to kidnapping, human trafficking, extortion, blackmail, buying and selling political favors, and much darker behavior, apparently even including murder.
When people become desensitized and callous toward the harm their sexual proclivities cause others, they tend to go to greater extremes. It is a fact that sexually deviant, rich and powerful people pay to torture and murder children.

Further, once you reject God’s laws regarding sex, you make yourself part of a system in rebellion against God, bringing destruction on yourself and those under your influence or authority.
We can see very plainly how a society is safer, happier, and more productive when the traditional family model based on lifelong monogamous marriage is followed. Our society is where it is today morally because of the underlying rebellion against God.

Girls mature at different rates, there is a bell curve. Some girls are very mature very early, others mature late.
Christianity did much to protect young women so they would bond to a lifelong mate.
In many tribal societies, this was not the case.
Our civilization has been very successful, in part, because it fought these natural proclivities.
Children have to be taught to be moral, they are not born that way.
