Nancy is such a b,witch. Maria just had another Hispanic woman running for Congress in South Texas. She turned from D to R. She talked in detail about how the cartel is in charge in her community. I think she was endorsed by President Trump.

Ha! It certainly got my attention :-)
The reviews are actually decent. I think a lot of people use them for camping.
I haven’t camped, in years....but....if the grands start playing soccer, or any other outside sport....may have to look into to. I can still see my dear MIL sweating it out, at all of our kids’ outdoor games 🥵

It’s what people did before air conditioning. They would get a block of ice and set it before a fan. The fan would blow across the ice and, perforce, the air would be colder.

Yep...the original ‘swamp cooler’. Family members have/had those, in west TX.
They won’t work in SE TX’s REAL swamp, though :-(
I saw another rigged up invention that uses ice blocks at the bottom of a 5 gal bucket, with pvc tubes poking out (above ice/water level), and, a fan facing down, on top of (cut out) lid.
A lot of trouble to get cool...but, when you’re melting in the heat...you think of any and everything, I guess.

It might work? We ended up using something like this that fits on a five gallon bucket. We put it in the dugout for the boys (and now my older son uses it for frisbee tournaments)
