I know this wasn’t addressed to me, but it seems that cardboard may split. Still , why couldn’t it be frozen in ice cube trays and then placed in a freezer bag?

She has some of those Ziploc plastic freezer-safe bowls, which hold something like 1-1/2 cups each. She leaves about 1/2” of space, to allow for expansion during freezing.
I’m not sure if the cardboard cartons would split, though. Too much of a Neanderthal. I’ll ask her, though, on her weekly visit to check on me & make sure I haven’t croaked yet. :-)

The family of a former top Clinton advisor who admitted Jeffrey Epstein to the White House multiple times during his presidency is fighting to keep photos and ‘other illustrative content’ of his death from being released to the public, DailyMail.com can reveal.
Mark Middleton, who served as special assistant to President Bill Clinton in the 1990s, died in his home state of Arkansas in early May at the age of 59, his family announced last month.
The family did not disclose the cause of death at the time but authorities later confirmed the former White House official took his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot.
Now, Middleton’s relatives have gone to court to stop police and the coroner from releasing ‘any media content’ relating to the scene of his death to the public. In a request for an injunction on May 23, they argued that keeping the footage and files sealed would halt a proliferation of ‘unsubstantiated conspiracy theories’.
After the petition was filed, Perry County Sheriff Scott Montgomery denied DailyMail.com’s FOIA request for any of his paperwork on the case, which would include the police report and written files, even though they do not contain any graphic images.

Small Rectal Cancer Study Has Remission in Every Patient
June 6, 2022 – A small clinical trial with 12 rectal cancer patients found remission in 100% of them, according to a new paper published in TheNew England Journal of Medicine.
All the patients took dostarlimab, a monoclonal antibody, every 3 weeks for 6 months. During follow-up, the cancer had disappeared on MRI scans, PET scans, biopsies, endoscopic tests, and physical exams.
“I believe this is the first time this has happened in the history of cancer,” Luis Diaz Jr., MD, the senior study author and an oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, told The New York Times.
The study, which was sponsored by the drug company GlaxoSmithKline, was presented Sunday at the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. The study authors reported several surprises: None of the patients needed other treatments associated with rectal cancer, such as life-altering surgery or chemotherapy, and none had clinically significant complications.
Cancer researchers agreed that the results will need to be repeated in larger studies, mainly because the small study focused on patients who had a rare genetic signature in their tumors, known as mismatch repair deficiency. The patients also had locally advanced rectal cancer, which had spread in the rectum and sometimes to the lymph nodes but not to other organs.
The results are “cause for great optimism,” Hanna Sanoff, MD, an oncologist at the University of North Carolina’s Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, who wasn’t involved with the study, wrote in an editorial that went with the paper.
