I know this wasn’t addressed to me, but it seems that cardboard may split. Still , why couldn’t it be frozen in ice cube trays and then placed in a freezer bag?

She has some of those Ziploc plastic freezer-safe bowls, which hold something like 1-1/2 cups each. She leaves about 1/2” of space, to allow for expansion during freezing.

I’m not sure if the cardboard cartons would split, though. Too much of a Neanderthal. I’ll ask her, though, on her weekly visit to check on me & make sure I haven’t croaked yet. :-)
