Patriotism sells my friends. Lefties in Hollywood know it. Tom Cruise and the Henry Fonda know how to fake it.
pre-views look good.
Not gonna go see it though.
Wife wants to see it so yeap, shut up and take my money! ๐ฐ๐บ๐ธ๐ฐ
Saw this movie last night. Tremendous. A great old fashioned, entertaining movie without agenda.
If my husband was still alive he would want to see it and I would go with him but on my own I will give it a pass.
FWIW, this is the only flick I want to see in a theater this summer. Probably this year. I think it has to be seen on a big screen to really appreciate it.
You buy a ticket to this you support Scientology. You support destroying families again and again and again with giveing their show pony great success and plenty of money to dump back into that evil money cult.
Go to an airshow, go take a flying lesson, there’s a concept.
DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!
Of course everyone will though because...... nobody cares if they are entertained.
Navy loves the two hour recruitment ad, they don’t mind either.
It was great. We went with a large group of friends from church, 2 former Navy pilots, 1 former Air Force top gun pilot, one former Marine pilot who was in space program, all loved it. No woke garbage. Everything is merit based(typical push pull between guys who “do” vs. top brass, but more about budgets, not stupid woke idiocy). It’s about the planes, testing human limits and the effects of things that happened in the first movie on the next generation.
Fun, clean, exciting effects, good tie in to the original movie, brings back the patriotic feelings of first movie during the Reagan years. Music was great, good tie in/reflection of first movie (except last song which was stupid and didn’t fit very well, all else was great). Great to go to a good movie, enjoy it, not feel “slimed” by Hollywood wokeism and trash. Everyone came out smiling, in good mood, sharing stories of their years as pilots and discussing technicalities of the movie and what could or could not actually be achieved in real life by those fighter jets. Needs to be seen in theater for full effect (we rarely go to movies because nothing worth watching and dont like supporting Hollywood, but made exception for this one since it is patriotic and makes you proud of our military!). Will Hollywood get a clue about what people want to see? I doubt it.
I know a lot of people like to goof on Tom Cruise for his private life but the guy is one of the last real Hollywood stars and gives 100% in his movies (even when I donโt like the movie).
Never liked Tiny Tom...he’s creepy.
The trailer is damned good.
