Fired up the wood stove yesterday and again this morning. 45 degrees out there.

We’ve been having those same kinds of mornings, but I am just bundling up. I’m not turning the heat back on unless it goes below 32 - hoping we’re past that by now!

It has been cold around here lately 40s at night, 60-70 in the day. I have some bags with sweet potatoes and put gardening fabric on them last night. Need to go look at them. Looks like several days of rain coming up, fine for the Lettuce and Chinese Cabbage and Peas I guess.

Computer slide.

My wife’s 12 year old Dell Inspirion died last night. ( F2 at startup, ran the multi hour Diagnostic; clock, display, logic, arithmatic fine; Disc 0F00; 394. “Cant read, replace disc” concluded the Diagnostic: Also 0F00:065D error. Some advice to use Norton or another program to repair, but its pretty old and takes forever to start up. Want to get away from the mechanical disc drive and move to SSD. (SSD Not an option on the old computer.)

I have a Dell laptop loaded with Linux that was very kindly provided to me by someone that I really need to start using! (If you read this Thank you O & G!!) Bought a mouse and separate keyboard because I hate working with laptops (His suggestion, again thanks!) It also has a Windows partition. I need to get it connected to the internet and exploring what I can do with it. has been mostly an issue of time. Oh well. Computer Slide over. I need to start doing things outside.
