Nine people were shot, two of whom died, in a chaotic scene outside a McDonald's on Chicago's Near North Side Thursday. Police said they have arrested a suspect.
A dispute broke out between two groups at approximately 10:41 p.m. eventually leading one individual to fire shots into the crowd, Chicago Police Superintendent David Brown told reporters at a press conference Friday.
Police do not know what caused the fight, Brown said.
Officers pursued the suspect into a Chicago Transit Authority train stop and arrested a suspect as well as a person who Brown said obstructed the officers.

That was once a wonderful, safe neighborhood. Nice shops, restaurants, lovely apartments. One of the better Chicago hoods. When we were older teenagers, we were allowed to leave our safe suburb and drive down there to visit some of the clubs. Saw Stan Kenton there with a few friends, including very wealthy girl whose grandfather founded General Motors.

The sad thing about all of this is that we pretty well can guess about the “things unsaid” by our demonstrably corrupt and “lying by non-mention” press.
All the key words are there: groups, individual, suspect.

The implication being they would like to disarm everyone. Great! Make all firearms illegal. Because someone prepared to commit a felony and kill someone will obviously be deterred by an illegal weapons charge... ;-/

Chicago police have issued a nationwide BOLO and are actively seeking a group of old white guys identified by Mayor Groot as suspects in the shooting. They were last seen wearing MAGA hats as they fled the scene of the shooting in an old red Chevrolet pickup with Florida plates and multiple “Trump 2024” and “Let’s Go Brandon” bumper stickers.
