Lindsey Graham playing politics and flip-flopping in his effort to stay in the center has come to light again as new audio recorded on Jan 6 is highlighted in a book by Reporters Jonathan Martin and Alexander Burns, who write for the New York Times.
Martin and Burns obtained the audio, and discuss it in their book which they discussed on Anderson Cooper’s show Tuesday night.
Graham has been all over the place with his stance on Trump.
The four-term senator from South Carolina called the president ‘uninformed’ and said he would be an ‘absolute, utter disaster’ for the party before the 2016 election. In May 2016, Graham tweeted: ‘If we nominate Trump, we will get destroyed…….and we will deserve it.’But he quickly emerged as one of the president’s closest allies and most outspoken defenders during his term, the Daily Mail reported.
In 2019, Graham, in an interview with Hannity, blasted Democrats for their 2-year investigation into Trump, saying angrily,” You can say this anyway you would like but here is the bottom line. After 2 years of a political rectal exam, nobody has been looked at more than Trump. They found nothing.”

lindaI didn’t vote for him in the primary but voted for him in the general 2020, maybe I should have left it blank. If he is on the ticket in 2026 (if we make it there) I’ll vote for the democrat.
Graham supported Trump’s agenda during his 4 years....with a few exceptions.
No wonder he has been so quiet the past 14 months. What a fool!
South Carolina is conservative. He doesn’t have to play to the liberals like he does. At least Susan collins has an excuse.
Same with Mitch. He’d rather have had Biden and Hillary than Trump.
If you notice, the left-wing media is the ones coming out with all this “he said, he did” stuff on all the Republicans. It’s called opposition research and a lot of it is not true. Is Linsey a RINO? Yes. Is he a flip-flopper? Yes, especially when he is up for re-election. But can you really believe everything the media says these days? Not. I take this all with a grain of salt.
I guess Lindsey is Chamber Of Commerce First.
Chamber Of Commerce First Is Sometimes America First But It Can Also Be China First like the Fufeng plant in Grand Forks, North Dakota where they have a Republican mayor.
We can win no war, now or in the future, for the well being of America with traitors like Graham in our midst. Get rid of him at all cost.
I don’t think anyone actually believes Biden is actually in charge of anything. No one in the White House sits up wondering what the president’s opinion is about anything.
Not sure who the actual president is, but it isn’t him.
It sounds like Graham has become the foremost Republican argument for term limitation.
Lindsey is a beta dog in desperate need of an alpha. It was McCain, then Trump and after the 2020 selection it looks like he moved to Biden. But no matter who the alpha is, the beta won’t stop his infernal yapping.
He sure is. It’s difficult to trust a close friend of McCain.
