Major League Baseball announced a 324-game suspension for Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer on Friday, the equivalent of two full seasons and by far the most severe punishment handed out under the sport's domestic violence policy.
Bauer promptly released a statement announcing he was appealing the suspension, thus becoming the first player to appeal punishment through MLB's domestic violence policy.

Sports leagues seem to be very inconsistent.
What about the Brown’s mega-rapist Deshaun Watson??
WTH? He was cleared of the charges awhile back and now this, why? Because he had some bad publicity for awhile until they found his accuser to be a gold-digging liar?
Goodbye MLB, you suck
Two different leagues, but yes.
Wasn’t easy, but said bye to the MLB a few years ago. Got tired of BLM and faggotry promos, the rule changes, and the kicker pulling the All Star game from Atlanta.
Many people will *never* tune in again. I’m one of them.
Only “sport” I ever watch any more is F1.
I will watch the 100m and 200m in the Summer Olympics as well.
I read way more now.
Eventually you wonder why you wasted so much time on sports.
Its hard to like something that doesn’t like or respect you.
If MLB wants to cater to the woke crowd then let them have it. And then watch what happens to revenues.
Yeah really.
I would never have the time not desire to watch these days.
Funny how that works.
F1 is about it for me too. NASCAR is history in my world.
Prosecution was dropped.
But MLB I think is justified in suspending him.
I guess they figure after two seasons most people will forget.
Ah, one lawyer representing many “victims” reeks of extortion. Remember the lawyer tried to get him to “settle” early on. Plus Desaun has said he doesn’t want to “settle” (read payoff to extrusion) because he said the gag order would prevent his side from being heard. Call me a fool if you want but I believe the women were asked for a happy ending and they complied, then one or more women saw a chance to become rich and hired the lawyer.
The gal bragged about sleeping with the Padres and got fired. Bauer is conservative and was outspoken about stupid things like checking the pitchers’ gloves every inning.
The Dodgers don't want him back, because apparently his teammates don't like him at all.
Athletes went from heroes to freaks in a matter of years.
I remember looking up many of the “good superstars” (you wonder how good they really were).
Tony Gwynn, Ryne Sandberg, John Smoltz, Ken Griffey Jr., Wade Boggs...
Now we just get a bunch of deviants and violent insane brute beasts.
I spend more time in my garden and lawn than watching “sports” these days. I’m also happier doing it.
She came back for seconds. Says it all. Don’t stick it in crazy...
Smoltz is a little intense, but a good guy in my limited experience. Glavine is a guy who really did a lot for charity for a quarter century and also very nice, and super competitive, as you might expect. McCann was a nice guy too, ditto Andruw Jones. Saw all of them, and interacted some, over a period of years at an annual charity event.
She wanted rough sex twice.
There’s no charges. But if MLB is showing evidence that Trevor Bauer is a scumbag, well, it’s easy to suspend him. No one cares if he wants to get his freak on. Just be “discreet” about it. At this point, he should play Mexican baseball. If he’s lucky, maybe Japan. But I doubt they’ll touch him now.
Some Like It Rough, coming soon to a theater near you.
