Tony Gwynn, Ryne Sandberg, John Smoltz, Ken Griffey Jr., Wade Boggs...
Now we just get a bunch of deviants and violent insane brute beasts.
I spend more time in my garden and lawn than watching “sports” these days. I’m also happier doing it.
Smoltz is a little intense, but a good guy in my limited experience. Glavine is a guy who really did a lot for charity for a quarter century and also very nice, and super competitive, as you might expect. McCann was a nice guy too, ditto Andruw Jones. Saw all of them, and interacted some, over a period of years at an annual charity event.
