Transhumanism, boiled down to its bones, is pure eugenics. It calls itself “H+,” for more or better than human. Which, of course, is what eugenics is all about.
Alarmingly, transhumanist values are being embraced at the highest strata of society, including in Big Tech, in universities, and among the Davos crowd of globalist would-be technocrats. That being so, it is worth listening in to what they are saying under the theory that forewarned is forearmed.
Israeli philosophy professor Yuval Harari is one of the movement’s chief. He believes that AI/human hybrids are inevitably going to take over — and that those of us who refuse to join our minds with these computer programs will come to be considered a “useless class,” or even, “useless people.” From the Miami Standard story:
Harari went on to say that humanity is in the midst of a “second industrial revolution” centered around artificial intelligence. “But the product this time will not be textiles, or machines, or vehicles, or even weapons, the product this time will be humans themselves,” Harari asserted. “We are basically learning to produce bodies and minds. Bodies and minds are going to be I think the two main products of the next wave of all these changes.”
The “useless people” referenced by the WEF advisor would be those who refuse to be injected with artificial intelligence capabilities in the coming decades. Describing humans as “hackable animals”, Harari believes that “the masses” would “not stand much of a chance” against these changes even if they were to organize…

I was typing out FORTRAN programs on punched cards and writing programs for the Olivetti-Underwood Programma 101 during the Carter admin.
It’s basically the same thing Musk warned about 10 years ago. AI will see us as useless if we are not connected. His reasoning behind neuro-link This is nothing new.
When I was in the Army, I had a ‘Field Computer.’ It came on its own trailer that I could haul behind a jeep and was the size of a small VW Bug!
Between that and my Mimeograph Machine (still LOVE the smell of that blue goop!) I saved y’all from Communism in the 1980’s.
You’re Welcome! :)
Did punch cards for an IBM 360 simulator at tech school.
I think the program was written in binary.
Ooh that was fun. Not really.
The Marine Corps talked of deploying a field Sys/36 as I recall.
Reserve unit I worked got an IBM 4300 DOS/VSE.
I forgot how big the 8 inch floppies were until one day opened a notebook and there it was.
Another college had an IBM Series 1.
It wouldn’t boot so I got out the vacuum cleaner and cleaned up the 8 inch floppy disk.
Whaddaya mean? Windows IS malware.
EMP
Yeah, we’ll be useless until a Carrington Event level solar flare hits. Then we get to watch the Borg flop to the floor.
What happens to AI “enhanced” humans when the power goes out or their batteries fail? I will be the first to pull the plug on these moronic nutjobs.
There is no artificial intelligence, all we have are so called “smart systems”.
Squiddy?
‘Harari went on to say that humanity is in the midst of a “second industrial revolution” centered around artificial intelligence.’
Why are people who are uneducated allowed to lecture the rest of us? The second industrial revolution already happened like 150 years ago.
Harari asserted. “We are basically learning to produce bodies and minds.”
Pure hubris. The mechanical actions of limbs we may be able to replicate. Maybe even the actions of organs. But the workings of the mind are still almost a complete mystery to us, because that is not an area that is very amenable to scientific study, as it is mostly non-physical and science is limited to studying only the physical.
So whatever we are doing with AI, we are certainly not replicating minds.
“AI will see us as useless if we are not connected.”
These people failed to see the other side of the coin, which is: AI will see us as defective if we are connected.
They have all the money in the world. They can do anything they want.
So they spend their lifetimes marinating in hatred toward their fellow humans, and scheming to find ways to control or eliminate them?
Insanity.
And, if they don't repent and ask our Lord's forgiveness; after their time on this earth is done, they face Final Judgement, and eternal suffering in hell.
What a waste of life.
AI is a problem either way. There is Blue Brain project working on consciousness for Ai, as well as others. Musk thought being plugged in would make you like it’s pet or child. I figure it’ll be closer to the show ‘The 100’ Where AI nukes the planet.
