Pollster On DeSantis: ‘He Will Not Run If Donald Trump Runs — End Of Story’
Chicks On The Right ^ | 4/23/2022 | Staff

The liberal media is accused of trying to start a rivalry between President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, which doesn’t actually exist.

The two political figures are extremely popular among conservatives and supportive of each other. Trump previously endorsed DeSantis’ run for governor.

DeSantis has also said the rivalry is something manufactured by the liberal media.

Pollster Richard Baris is setting the record straight by shutting down the idea of a rivalry between them.

Baris explained DeSantis “will not run if Donald Trump runs” because DeSantis believes the election was stolen from President Trump. As a result, Trump belongs in the White House and DeSantis wouldn’t stand in his way.

Trump has agreed with this comment by claiming that Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo, and Ron DeSantis would step aside if he did run for the party nomination in 2024. “If I ran, I can’t imagine they’d want to run,” Trump said. “Some out of loyalty would have had a hard time running.”

“I think that most of those people, and almost every name you mentioned, is there because of me,” Trump said specifically about DeSantis. “In some cases, because I backed them and endorsed them.”

“You know Ron was at 3 percent, and the day I endorsed him, he won the race.” When asked if he is responsible for “making DeSantis,” Trump responded, “As soon as I endorsed him, the race was over.”

Trump currently leads potential Republican rivals by sizable majorities in most polls. He has repeatedly hinted that he will run again in 2024.

Pollster Baris confirmed the same information coming from DeSantis’ side.

“I got texts from people in Trump orbit and DeSantis orbit. What the f***,” Baris said. “This is exactly what they are talking about. Telling him to look him dead in the eye because he feels this election was stolen Let me just tell you, let me just make this clear for everybody.”

“So, if Trump does run again… it is not even so much the loyalty to Donald Trump, it’s the fact that he believes this election was stolen from Trump.”

“So, if Trump wants to come and take it back it’s his to take back. I understand there are a lot of loyal DeSantis people out there but I am not doing it.”

“Neither one of them want me to do it. They just think it’s trouble-making. So, I’m telling you he looked dead in the eye and said if he runs I will not run. He told everybody…at his damn cabinet was at that event. The lieutenant governor was at the event sitting two feet away and everybody heard it. He will not run if Donald Trump runs. End of story.“

In a new interview, President Donald Trump suggests there is only one thing that could stop him in 2024 — his health.

“I don’t want to comment on running,” Trump said, “but I think a lot of people are going to be very happy by my decision.”

“Because it’s a little boring now,” the 75-year-old President noted. Trump explained that his health would factor into his final decision on whether to run.

“You always have to talk about health,” he explained. “You look like you’re in good health, but tomorrow, you get a letter from a doctor saying come see me again.”

DeSantis is far behind President Trump with Republican primary voters. That's what counts.
Fortunately you don't chose who the nominee is. GOP primary voters do.

Donald Trump holds a large lead of 52 points in a potential Republican primary, according to a Harvard/Harris poll released Sunday.

Polling at 63 percent, Trump leads his nearest potential competitor, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), by 52 points. DeSantis polled at 11 percent with Trump in the potential 2024 field.

This is what I am hoping for. That team would break the back of Democrats. I can just see all the wailing helplessly at the sky.

He’s wrong to this day on one of the biggest ongoing crimes against humanity—in which he was instrumental. So he’s either witting or unwitting about that. Either way, that makes him controlled (oppo).

What “crime” is that?
And when are you going to stop spewing out deranged, far left, anti Trump nonsense and slither back to the DU swamp you escaped from?

Phoenix8 "I voted for the Donald twice. However He is not the man for us in 2024: Proven he can be beaten (cheated whatever). I will push for Desantis or Paul for that matter."

That post indicates:
You deny massive voter fraud
You believe Trump was "beaten"
You ignore reality that Desantis/Paul will suffer same massive voter fraud

Only a leftwing troll and/or someone with an IQ of a bowling ball would make that statement.

So yes, you are a stupid leftist.

Now slither back under your rock...

Really? I contradicted a pollster based on my personal experience. The only thing I would change is the use of the term “fundraiser.” Private Meet and Greet about future political aspirations suit you better? Also attended one with Pompeo. These guys aren’t running to be Trump’s stepson...if he even runs.

You are full of 💩
I said “ Proven he can be beaten (cheated whatever)” which shows your reading comprehension is that of a 5th grader. I left open the possibility it was rigged.

As your second obnoxious claim therefore is also a lie.

On the 3rd how do I ignore that possibility? YOU have no proof it will happen if Desantis runs, it’s might, it might not. I certainly don’t trust the Dem machine.

I’ve never voted for a democratic POTUS once, and I’ve been Voting since Reagan. I support conservative causes, Im fairly well read on Ayn Rand…I’m a conservative in every since of the word save perhaps I care a little more for environmental causes.

I’ve never called anyone this because I am a Trump supporter but you are a TrumpBOT, you won’t see any other possibilities or accept any other opinions than your own narrow views. By the way genius Trump is now 75, which is the average life expectancy already for a man. He would be 77-78 if he won and the oldest POTUS of all time and there is a very good chance he would die before his term was up and certainly not be as effective as before. Another legitimate complaint I have of Trump is he had a golden opportunity to shape the Supreme court, what did he do? He nominated THREE for THREE RINOs. He blew it.

I was going to finish by insulting you further with base words but will stay above your level.

Try to see through your hatred that we are on the same team and dont have to to be little marching robots all exactly with the same exact outlook and life experiences.

“Fortunately you don't chose who the nominee is. GOP primary voters do.”

Well, if I lived in Florida; and if I were a registered Republican; and if I was still an election-day poll worker after 10 election cycles, I would still have one vote to cast in the primary.

And I would vote for Trump in 2024. If he is on the ballot.

The MAGA movement wants President Trump in 2024 and nobody else.

President Trump IS the MAGA movement.

Not only is he the best man for the job, and has proven it over and over again, but his victory in 2024 will be highly symbolic - they badgered him with fake impeachment BS throughout his first term and then literally STOLE his second term.

After what they did to him there is no way to put things right, other than putting him back in the White House. If there was ever anyone who deserved a second term, it is Donald J. Trump.

Besides, serving as VP is pointless, unless you are a politician who lacks name recognition and needs to make a name for himself. By serving as VP, a relatively unknown politician can become a household name, and if he is well-liked and doesn’t screw anything up, he can become the default nominee for his party.

DeSantis is doesn’t need the VP spot to earn name recognition or prove himself. AND, he would be wasted as VP - he is MUCH more valuable to MAGA where he is, as governor of Florida, where he is totally kicking ass.

Then, in 2028, he will sweep the primaries by running as Trump II.

I have no idea who President Trump will pick, but I expect his running mate to be someone well-respected across the board, fiercely loyal to President Trump - but somewhat underwhelming, unexciting and unambitious.

Kind of what we thought of Pence, before we found out he was a spineless traitor.

I’m thinking someone like Ben Carson would be perfect.
