The liberal media is accused of trying to start a rivalry between President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, which doesn’t actually exist.
The two political figures are extremely popular among conservatives and supportive of each other. Trump previously endorsed DeSantis’ run for governor.
DeSantis has also said the rivalry is something manufactured by the liberal media.
Pollster Richard Baris is setting the record straight by shutting down the idea of a rivalry between them.
Baris explained DeSantis “will not run if Donald Trump runs” because DeSantis believes the election was stolen from President Trump. As a result, Trump belongs in the White House and DeSantis wouldn’t stand in his way.
Trump has agreed with this comment by claiming that Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo, and Ron DeSantis would step aside if he did run for the party nomination in 2024. “If I ran, I can’t imagine they’d want to run,” Trump said. “Some out of loyalty would have had a hard time running.”
“I think that most of those people, and almost every name you mentioned, is there because of me,” Trump said specifically about DeSantis. “In some cases, because I backed them and endorsed them.”
“You know Ron was at 3 percent, and the day I endorsed him, he won the race.” When asked if he is responsible for “making DeSantis,” Trump responded, “As soon as I endorsed him, the race was over.”
Trump currently leads potential Republican rivals by sizable majorities in most polls. He has repeatedly hinted that he will run again in 2024.
Pollster Baris confirmed the same information coming from DeSantis’ side.
“I got texts from people in Trump orbit and DeSantis orbit. What the f***,” Baris said. “This is exactly what they are talking about. Telling him to look him dead in the eye because he feels this election was stolen Let me just tell you, let me just make this clear for everybody.”
“So, if Trump does run again… it is not even so much the loyalty to Donald Trump, it’s the fact that he believes this election was stolen from Trump.”
“So, if Trump wants to come and take it back it’s his to take back. I understand there are a lot of loyal DeSantis people out there but I am not doing it.”
“Neither one of them want me to do it. They just think it’s trouble-making. So, I’m telling you he looked dead in the eye and said if he runs I will not run. He told everybody…at his damn cabinet was at that event. The lieutenant governor was at the event sitting two feet away and everybody heard it. He will not run if Donald Trump runs. End of story.“
In a new interview, President Donald Trump suggests there is only one thing that could stop him in 2024 — his health.
“I don’t want to comment on running,” Trump said, “but I think a lot of people are going to be very happy by my decision.”
“Because it’s a little boring now,” the 75-year-old President noted. Trump explained that his health would factor into his final decision on whether to run.
“You always have to talk about health,” he explained. “You look like you’re in good health, but tomorrow, you get a letter from a doctor saying come see me again.”
DeSantis 2028. I am already on board.
Outside or inside of FR, nobody comes even close close to President Trump in any GOP primaries poll for 2024 that I have seen. President Trump is far ahead of anyone else.

DeSantis is a very good governor of Florida, but for 2024, President Trump is the man.
Well my motivation is that Trump stinks. He got rolled over and over. Set us down this COVID authoritarianism path, ignited inflation pushing big COVID spending that gave annualized unemployment of $52;000 a year to people that had been making $20K annually. Turned his entire presidency over to the deep state (Fauci and Birx). He did nothing to stop all the BLM and Antifa rioting. I could go on and on.
With or without his wits about him, Trump is clearly controlled oppo—and should not be voted back into office.
DeSantis is looking like the best alternative.
Okay. I am not opposed to Trump, my goal here is to show hypocrisy and bring him to a level of human instead of a Messiah, who works in a justice league cave with long dead people and will save the WHOLE world. I attended a retirement party last weekend. Here are the complaints about Trump (and outside, in everyday Convo) amongst conservatives. They are tired of the Bravado, different from the mean tweets. You have Anon’s stating Trump ‘has it all’ but chooses to let us suffer, to teach us a lesson which come across elitist. All admit cheating at some level, but noone wants to hear a billionaire whine about being cheated out of a job when the people themselves are paying continually rising prices for gas, food, and other basic necessities. Oz and about every other endorsement is a move left. Those have hurt him greatly. Lastly he is forever tied to Q. Noone outside that clique believes Trump is working 24/7 to save the world. Nothing in his life, this far, has shown he could do such a thing without boasting about it. Not to mention it’s a statistical impossibility. Will they vote for Trump in 2024? Most will, but if a better option is on that stage, Trump will lose the primary. Personally I do not believe he will run. We will know soon enough.
DeSantis is smart, conservative, enjoys what he is doing, is doing it well, and is young enough to run for President in 2028, 2032, 2036, or 2040. Why on Earth would he want to run against Trump in 2024?

Why would my post even make you think I am for Biden? Trump’s COVID response was far more in line with the Democrats than what I would have desired. Biden and Trump both elevated Fauci to godlike status. Sounds more like you are scared by the facts and default to histrionics in lieu of debate.
