I never understand why they ask questions in the manner of “what were your feelings”??? If they - the “reporter” knows the situation it does not take any imagination to expect various possible “feelings” the person might have had.

We’ve had the skip over our house TWICE. Once in the western ‘burbs of St. Louis (that was a BIG one) and once on the San Francisco Peninsula (that was a small one, but still demolished roofs, sheds, and the high school tennis court fences). Our kids were playing in the back yard yelling “Mom, there’s a tornado” and Mom replied “Yeah, sure, right.” But the kids were right. It ripped roofing and gutters off our neighbor’s house across the street and down one.
