As the debate over parental involvement in education continues, a new UN report suggests more regulation needs to be placed on those opting to homeschool their children.
In the United Nations’ latest “Global education monitoring report” for “2021/2” titled “non-state actors in education: who chooses? who loses?” the global organization suggests that a stricter regulatory system needs to be implemented to ensure that there is uniformity in what children are taught, regardless of where or by whom they are educated.
According to the UN report, the presence of “non-state actors” in education, which refers primarily to educators in the private schooling sector but also mentions parents involved in homeschooling, promotes “inequity” and “privilege,” and therefore the solution is for governments to consolidate “all” education into a “single system.”
The UN claims that the rise in homeschooling rates is the result of “advocacy by a global conservative movement” and accuses homeschooling environments of “exacerbating gender imbalances” and negatively impacting the employment rates of “mothers but not fathers.”
Responding to these arguments, Michael Donnelly, senior counsel for the Home School Legal Defense Association, wrote in an in-depth analysis of the report that “There is something deeply flawed with an international body that views ‘workforce participation’ as the be-all and end-all of human flourishing, especially when the topic is actually the education of children...”

Luke 17: 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
Who chooses?
Time for that bunch of grifters and potentates in their own mind to be sent packing.
United Nations calls for more regulations to be placed on people.
Workforce participation rate and more mothers working outside the home has long been Ivanka’s pet cause.
The UN has been trying to seize control of children and their education and upbringing since 1989 when they passed a treaty on the “rights” of children. Incredibly, only the US has held out against this totalitarian power grab. If Hillary Clinton had been elected president that would no longer be the case, and America’s children would be under the control of the UN and their favored NGO’s. Parents would be subject to foreign bureaucrats control over their educational and child rearing decisions.
Time for the UN to be eliminated. It’s a mouthpiece for global trash.
The UN wants to be involved in home schooling!!?? What color socks should I wear today? Do they know?

Ivanka’s kids will never be groomed in publik skrewls.
The continuing trend of white-collar people working from home, will facilitate home-schooling. Particularly when both parents are home.
Probably the trend that has escalated our globalist overlords’ intervention.
C.O.N.T.R.O.L.
I’ve been expecting this for a while.
Teachers Unions are starting to get nervous and jealous. They are losing direct influence over a growing number of of schoolchildren.
Germany has been very aggressive in going after homeschooling families.
Ive read about some German families being forced to leave the country in order to stay together as a family unit. The Government had decided to remove these “illegally” homeschooled kids from their parents.
ARTH ping
Trash can liner UN propaganda, nothing to do with the USA. A complete nullify.
Obama’s hand, again.
Recall that he wanted to A. Be head of the UN and B. wanted to start moving US sovereignity over to UN control as a way of gaining more power for the DNC where the GOP still had leverage. Same thing happened in the UK with Brexit.
This is just asinine. They have no such authority and we’d never give it to them. Our own government doesn’t have this authority so the UN can take a flying leap.
This is pure communism. It’s easy to forget that most countries, including those in the EU, are under planned economies with centralized decision making. They just can’t wrap their heads around freedom. Their instinct is to casually take away peoples rights and force them to comply with some authoritarian governing body. The concept that parents may not teach what they believe is just terrifying for them, they literally panic at the thought of not having control.
What is really making them panic is not that these kids will be ‘undereducated’ - the data shows the opposite, they do much better. It’s EDUCATED kids that they’re afraid of. The only way for them to maintain their control is to dumb the kids down - which makes this evil.
Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Congo, Cambodia and many other 3rd world countries with some of the least educated people in the world are members of the UN. Why don’t they try setting up basic education in those 3rd world shitholes before giving their opinion on mostly US homeschooling. Let’s have an aptitude competition. 3rd world kids vs US homeschooled kids. See who wins.
