I have tried to explain this about 1000 times, but I will try once more.
1. Impeaching Biden in the House is easy as it requires only a simple majority.
2. Conviction and removal in the Senate is basically impossible since you need 2/3’s and we won’t control anywhere near 2/3rds of the Senate.
And yet, despite removing Biden being IMPOSSIBLE, there are some who would pursue impeachment just because they are angry and want revenge. Forget that this partisan act would drive Independents right back to the Democrats. Forget that it would risk what should be a slam-dunk in 2024, they want revenge NOW! It’s like wearing a political suicide vest.
What can I say? Some people just want to be angry instead of smart.
Just saw on Varney a poll was taken about gas prices, I think on NBC. 7 out of 10 blamed Putin, and and a majority of them also blamed greedy oil companies.
The brainwashing is working!
Well, I want to be angry. Revenge is desired. I want to get even and even past getting even. I want to punish. But, dear Bill Mitchell, I am also smart and don’t want to push for it for the very reason you stated.

Biden To Announce New “Ghost Gun” Rules At Rose Garden Ceremony
Today will be a big day for the Biden administration as the long-awaited rule on “ghost guns” will be formally revealed by the president. There’s also word a new nominee to lead the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) will be announced.
USA Today reports President Biden and Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco will unveil new rules targeting do-it-yourself kits, otherwise known as 80% lowers. The lower receivers come unserialized and take a few hours of drilling and assembling an upper receiver to produce a fully functional firearm. The weapons contain no serial number, making it challenging for the government to track and trace.
USA Today said the announcement would be made “during a Rose Garden ceremony,” suggesting Biden’s anti-gun coalition groups would be in attendance.

The government borrows dollars, and you earn dollars. Taxation is one way that governments take money from citizens to pay off government debt. But taxes are unpopular and hard to get approved by Congress.
Inflation works much better.
It reduces your real income since the dollars you earn are worth less. And it reduces the government debt because the money the government owes is easier to repay for the same reason – the dollars are worth less.
So inflation works the same as a tax increase except that you can’t see it and Congress doesn’t have to lift a finger. Nice, right?
Another damaging effect of inflation has to do with the difference between nominal income and real income. Nominal income is the amount of money you make measured in dollars. Real income is the amount those dollars are actually worth when adjusted for inflation.
For example, your wages might have gone up 5% (that’s the latest annualized wage increase as of April 1, according to the Labor Department). That’s a nice gain, but with inflation of 7.9% (also the latest data we have), your real wages actually went down 2.9% (5.0 – 7.9 = -2.9).
A lot of the inflation today comes from the supply side, not the demand side. It has to do with supply chain disruptions and the cascade of consequences from the economic sanctions because of the war in Ukraine. None of these situations will show any improvement in the short run.
They may actually get worse, as the situation in China suggests…

She’s exactly right. When they pushed for marriage they said they just wanted the same rights as everyone else. That’s fine with me. But that didn’t last long, they wanted to take away religious rights from others that didn’t agree with them.
But they want SPECIAL rights. And now with this transgender faze put upon the children, they want to take away the rights of 99+% of people for demands of less than 1%.

To understand a Communist country, you have to change your mindset. If they hoarding grains? The majority is on paper, officials are pocketing the money. Grains are for officials’ families. In Shanghai, they distributed food to 2-3 apartments of CCP officials and the rest of the buildings were denied any food.
