A real estate agent has revealed how she's amassed a $10,000 vintage clothes collection - because she's obsessed with living like she's in the 1940s.
Gwendolyn Erin Patterson, 25, from Dallas, Texas, says she's so fixated with wearing wartime fashion that she now refuses to leave her house unless she's sporting glamorous attire from the Second World War era.

Sexy
I’d rivet that harder than Rosie...
Lucille Ball wore THE trendiest and coolest clothes in I Love Lucy!
Nice military vehicle.
Oh God…just stop with your woman bashing!
Looks great to me! I’d love to see this stuff back in fashion
Mink stole. A mink wrap. Very popular
I’m not a biogist. But that is most definitely a woman who is happy to be in her own skin and clothes!
My daughter took up swing dancing in early 2000’s in high school. She was all in on the WWII fashion too! Was easier and cheaper to find back then vs. today. Loved the looks she put together. Her Grandfather was a WWII war hero…B17 Radioman, Shot down over Switzerland caught as POW and then escaped …fought with free French until Allies liberated He was an amazing American hero.
That’s what celebrity women used to look like. Now they all look like slobs and sluts.
I like it. Nothing like God ordained femininity. I mean the Bible even says, God made woman for man. 1 Corinthians 11:9
She may have a dozen different garments and accessories for that one ensemble. 1250 items equates to roughly 100 changes of clothes!
I bet she has at least a dozen pairs of gloves. Women appeared classy wearing gloves.
Do not feed the Lions, either.
I want a brown gown with a zop top
With a hip slip, and a laced waist
In the sharpest taste to see my Sunday man.I want a scat hat with a trim brim
And a zag bag with a rip zip
To look plenty hip
To see my Sunday fan.I want to look keen so my dream will say,
"Ain't I the lucky feller!"
So keen that he'll scream,
"Baby's in Technicolor!"I want a brown gown, zop top
With a hip slip, laced waist
In the sharpest taste to see my Sunday man.Hep, man! Jim jam!

Classy look!
I always liked seeing pictures of my mom and her friends in the 50s. Always dressed to the nines with hats and gloves. They looked gorgeous.
No wonder my mom would sigh and shake her head when my BFF and I were headed to the mall or somewhere in bell bottom jeans, desert boots and bandanas in our hair.
I guess she can’t sew - which most women could do back then.
You can still buy patterns for most of those styles, both vintage patterns and retro ones.
10k on a hobby, over the lifetime of the hobby ain’t bad IMHO. I build and collect (which btw are 2 different things 😁) scale models. I have a few unbuilt ones that are valued well into the hundreds of dollars and I’ve been building for 40+ years. Good for her, she looks great.
