Her head isn’t even bald. In photos and video, you can see she has a full head of hair. It’s shaved down.
Many women have thinning hair or bald spots, and they don’t shave their heads. There’s nothing wrong with shaving your head, but she didn’t have to. She chose to wear it short.
Chris Rock was referring to her choice of haircut when he referred to GI Jane.
Some words are fighting words. Probably staged to boost down the toilet ratings. Hollywood is a complete fake. Meant to tear dollars out of people’s pockets. Completely irrelevant.
What absolute BS. And there is nothing funny about it. Nothing like this has ever happened to the Academy Awards in its almost 100 years of existence.
A comedian, who spent his entire comedic career, basically making fun of other people, physically assaults another comedian, for doing the very same thing to his wife; a woman who admittedly cheated on him, repeatedly.
Further, he was laughing long and hard at the joke, before walking up on a world stage, and assaulting Chris Rock. Then follows it up with a loud profane laced hissy fit.
It needs to be said, if a white guy had gone up on stage and did the very same thing to Chris Rock, a black guy, for the very same reason. Not only would the crowd been incensed and outraged, he would have been led out in hand cuffs, charged with assault and battery, and stripped of his Oscar. His career would be completely ruined, and over.
Instead, Smith gets awarded with an Oscar and a standing ovation just moments later. THAT is black privilege.
The Libs wanted to turn the Academy Awards over to a Ghetto culture, and now they got a taste of the violence that goes along with it. They are the reason we can’t have nice things anymore. They killed the Academy Awards. Oscar is now dead. This was just another nail in its coffin. Close the lid and bury him.

Chris Rock "no-sold" the slap in order to "keep his heat" and not look like a 'punk'. I am sure that was agreed upon when it was being planned. He kept his hands behind his back the whole time and moved with the direction of the slap without trying to back away or put his hands up to block it. Clearly a stunt, but Smith had to actually make contact for it to look authentic.
Didn’t watch the clip and don’t know what happened, but Chris Rock talking about black women and their hair for decades. He did a funny enough film about it.
I saw the clip on my morning news, and while Will Smith was initially laughing, Jada was glaring at Rock.
I can’t tell if this was staged or not. Seems more legit than not.
Good for him. He defended his wife’s honor. There should be more of that not less.
Is that really what they wanted?

Two things....
First, a slap? Really? But if you want to stage a fight and reduce the risk of someone actually getting hit, a slap is far less risky that a punch.
Two, the timing. If this was right before the last block of big elawards was given out, then I’m thinking the incident was staged to goose what I’m betting were miserable ratings.
Ad time was likely more expensive around the big awards.
If this went out on social media and folks tuned in right after, Hollyweird might have gotten a decent ratings spike after this.
And that would affect makegoods and cut down on bad publicity.
Fake ass slap just to get the media riled up.
1) I think it was staged as a cynical ploy to boost ratings for a dying show that no one cares about.
2) I’ve decided to react to it as if it were real and declare that negroes have poor impulse control and a strong tendency to violence. I want nothing to do with them.
