Most politicians don’t care.
democrats especially, except to talk the talk to get elected. They’re really good at talking, and subsidizing the poor to stay poor, but actually doing things to lift the poor out of poverty? WHY? They’d stop voting for them if THAT happened.
Republicans care most about freedom and business, which is the number one way people get jobs and therefore get lifted out of poverty.
The pumps will go pre pay and cut off once you hit 75.00$ worth so you have to start over to fill it.
And in my state tornado chasing season is starting soon so maybe we'll have less spotters.
I underestimated Biden. I knew he would mess up bad, but didn't expect him to do it so soon. Everything is bad.
And Whorealdo be etching about oil companies profits. When did he say that about the drug companies and their record profits.
We do not have the infrastructure to go full green. It shouldn't be a priority now.

No one in government has control of anything. We're going to get hit with a terror attack here because Congress can't quit Trump. Biden is going to die in office and Kamala thinks this is Sesame Street. She was a prosecutor. Did she speak to juries this way?
Scott is another disappointment. He did OKAY as our governor. Better than any alternative at the time but, he is No Conservative. Not by any stretch. He pails in comparison to DeSantis and is a Shrinking Violet in comparison to President TRUMP. He’s much like so many R’s. He has been absorbed by the DC Swamp but, he’s too new to feel completely comfortable. So, he vacillates between appeasing Conservatives and pleasing the RINO’s in The Swamp. Attempting to walk the line to save his skin. Just like Rubio who I believe is his guidepost.

I wonder if Rick Scott is contemplating being the next senate majority leader after McConnell retires. I’m not a Scott fan by any stretch but I would prefer him over McConnell or Thune.

Nor do the Democrats. Anybody who is for pie in the sky instead of proven fossil fuels simply does not care about the devastating consequences to poor and middle class people when gas prices skyrocket.

This situation with Biden is looking much, much worse.
The other day I was topping up my meager stock-pile and the very young cashier started chatting with me. He looked me in the eye and asked, ‘stuff’s really bad in our country, isn’t it?’ I told him yes, it is worse than the 1970’s. Nobody is saying there is a recession yet, because we are heading into a depression and Great Reset of the world order.
Right now I wouldn’t mind a plan to get gasoline to the farmers. Instead they sell off parts of our stockpile to foreign lands. They need to be paying attention to the needs here at home right now. That oil is for the United States to weather a crisis or war, it is not there for the whole world.
Right now we need President Trump more than ever. We could get through this with him managing the economy. Instead we have the Fed. treating this inflationary cycle like every other time. Raise interest rates to slow things down? The inflation is caused by shortages and government policy choking the markets. The world is resetting and our current leadership is not encouraging investment here at home, instead they only tighten the noose to our economic collapse.
Neither does the RINO party being that they are doing absolutely nothing about election integrity and here we are 8.5 months away from the midterms. But ho hum if that gets stolen as well, we must all shut up, don’t dare protest and just bend over and say thank you Sir may I have another.
I lived/survived through the Carter years as well, matter of fact Reagan/Carter was the first election I voted in. I voted for Reagan of course.
I remember quite well the gas lines, waiting in the car with my mom who after 2 hours of waiting went crazy with frustration and smashed her car into a telephone pole. To this day I have scars on my forehead from smashing my head into the windshield. A nice reminder of the Carter years.
Today is much much worse because this time we don’t have a legitimately elected President. We have domestic enemies of the USA, environmental thugs who have commandeered the White house thru a coup using election fraud, and they are deliberately trying to utterly destroy the fossil fuel industry in a demented attempt to force everyone to go “green” whatever the hell that means.
The Biden occupation announced the other day they will soon issue executive orders further crippling the fossil fuel industry so as Trump said a few weeks ago, expect gas to hit $8 bucks a gallon, even $10 which of course will destroy our economy as well but that means nothing to these environmental terrorists

When a widowed senior citizen has to pay $54.00 to gas up her little car to go to the grocery store, and pay over $100.00 for a few vegetables and dairy products, I would say that is the truth.
