Thanks for the post.
I am not entirely shocked, but never in my life would I suspect a YouTube channel (with patrons no less) would exist that has two people discussing ancient Roman roads in the U.K. Of course, they’re English, so that explains a lot.

California 1) mandates rubberized asphalt and recycled asphalt which fails very quickly and 2) it spends gazillions of dollars on illegals. You can draw a direct inverse line between spending on illegals and the horrendous degradation of our infrastructure.

Spoiler — nobody knows why.
They are a cute couple and it’s really cool they have a shared interest in history and archaeology and enjoy getting out exploring like this.

Today is the Ides of March, when Caesar was famously assassinated. But what most people don't know is that he wasn't stabbed, but poisoned, by Hemlock leaves in his salad - hence the name "Caesar's Salad." When Brutus asked how many Hemlock leaves Caesar ingested, Caesar said:
Ate two, Brute.
...my apologies.

Profits to charity.

Rod Stewart fills potholes outside his Essex estate - YouTube“The other day, there was an ambulance with a burst tire. My Ferrari can’t go through here at all.” He added, dancing around in a safety vest, “Me and the boys thought we’d come out here and do it ourselves.” The Italian suspension is grateful.

;^)
The Romans were phenomenal cats, and did a nice job keeping order, thanks to their soldiers, who were on duty all day, and all of the night.

:^) The second vid (the 2-3 minute one that describes the construction) showed up in my related vids, no doubt because of my past viewing, and luckily, the kinky road one showed up after I watched it.

Yup, the Romans inspired Walt Disney's Huey, Dewey, and Louie.
