My prediction for 2022: Before the midterm election, we will have a serious discussion about whether individual Republican House Members are disqualified by Section 3 of the 14th Amendment from serving in Congress. We may even see litigation.

Wasn’t the “Russia Collusion” fake story a soft coup attempt?

I don’t even recognize this country. The GOP has ben thoroughly defeated and have done nothing to stop this nonsense on so many fronts.

Who is this”group of North Carolinians”?
We as their opposition and opponents should get to face them, let’s see who these people are and aren’t.
Traitors come in all flavors

Well, all but Cheney and Kinzinger, anyways.

Cawthorne wins a total victory in court, and a large number of posters translate that into surrender by Republicans?
That makes no sense.
A Republican wins; therefore Republicans are all surrendering?
Say what?

Good call.
My prediction: if the GOP gets any guts at all it will revive these lawfare tactics and use them against the party of Rebellion, Secession, and Slavery.

Has any court upheld the claim that an Insurrection occurred on Jan 6, 2021?
To: MtnClimber
Is it possible that the idiotic notion that this unserious group of lunatics is salivating over, concerning the accusations that President Trump encouraged an “insurrection” can finally be put to bed, before they make bigger FOOLS of themselves.
I think this was a dry run to see if they could get a good judgment on the silly notion that an INSURRECTION could be started with words and NOTHING ELSE.
I guess it depends on how crazy Lizzy is.
Perhaps they should just disband quietly and go home.

"Democrats started saying that a spontaneous protest at the Capitol constituted an “insurrection.”"
Just like Maxine Waters crying "impeach Trump," the Democrats are never specific about charges against Republicans, mainly because they don't have the evidence to back up their accusations imo.
Instead of due process, Trump supporters are getting mock process like Trump's failed mock impeachments and now this insurrection thing.
Democrats are "Keystone Kops" at weaponizing the law, but then some activist judge eventually comes along and gives them what they want.
I'm waiting for Trump's Truth Social to open peoples' eyes to what I believe are the criminal minded people that the Democrats and RINOs really are.
Insights welcome.

I think this was a test case to then play on President Trump. The Soviet style Jan 6th commission of political oligarchs, have said their purpose was to prevent President Trump from running for office again. They have no power to prevent him, but they have plenty of judges to do their bidding.
