The larger star (named Putin) simply invaded another (Ewe-Kraine) and seized some of the mass. Happens all of the time in this universe. Nothing to see here.

Great, so the black man can't even keep his black hole, that's gotta be taken away too... Given to vampires with their notoriously pasty-white skin. That's racist! ;-)
Seriously, you know somewhere a SJW type read the headline and was triggered by the word "black" and had to read the article to see if there was anything racist in there. I guarantee it.

They're just too quick to throw black holes around. I strongly suspect black holes are not what astrophysicists think they are. Seems sometimes they want to panic the general public; as if there were somewhere to run if one showed up on the front porch.
You'll remember when someone on CNN speculated if a missing airplane was swallowed by one. No doubt scientists are not nearly that level of stupid, but they might benefit from the population's ignorance.

The concept of black holes is actually very old. Once it was realized that light had a finite speed there was speculation of objects so massive the escape velocity was greater than light speed so no light could ever leave it.
One of the theories of lightening is that it is started as a cosmic ray opens a path for electrons to flow. Black Holes are one of the few objects energetic enough to make Cosmic Rays. I find it amazing that whenever I see a flash of lightening it may have been triggered by a black hole billions of light years away.
