For an 'empowered, super-successful woman' (her words), 2020 Ms Great Britain April Banbury can be rather daft when it comes to men.
She's met goodness knows how many online in the past few years, dated 'more than 100' of them and slept with 'the ones I felt I might have a connection with potentially'. Then . . .
'They just ghost me,' she says with a look that's part fury, part hurt on her very pretty face.

Women who seek to date revenue streams shouldn’t be surprised that they aren’t in a genuine relationship.

I have known people who were in arranged marriages. Actually seemed to work quite well. Now, as an American, I am not recommending an arranged marriage for people — that’s outside of my culture.
But once upon a time, people grew up in a town, they met someone, got married, and they made it work.
Or they went to school, they met someone, got married, and they made it work.
If two people want it to work, it will usually work. It’s really not that hard.
But lots of people have unrealistic expectations. They keep looking and looking for perfection. They get to 25. They get to 30. They get to 35. No one is good enough yet. They are looking for the big revenue stream, or the beautiful woman who will stay slim and 22 forever, or whatever other crazy notion. They don’t want to “make it work”, they feel they deserve perfection. Because, you know, they are “all that”.
These are the unhappy people. And no one in their right mind marries an unhappy person.
Women who spend their twenties getting drunk often look like they’re in their fifties by the time they reach their thirties.

Even without arranged marriages, everything just goes a lot smoother if the couple either grew up together or have known each other for years.
It is called “trust” based on experience.
There is no substitute for it.
She’s very attractive but I see some serious red flags. Let’s start with the fact that her best years are clearly behind her. Was she serious about getting a good man in her 20s? Somehow I doubt it. Feminazis telling women they can waste their 20s and not get serious until their 30s have caused enormous harm.
Secondly, she definitely got some insecurity. She says she can’t find a good man but I suspect she’s found plenty of good men she passed up. Any woman that attractive has had plenty of choices in her life. It doesn’t help either that she admits to having a high body count. Guess what. The vast majority of guys do not want that in a woman they would want to settle down with. She also said she didn’t really want any of the guys she dated - just the one who broke up with her a few years ago. Any guy with some self respect is not looking to be with a 30 something woman who he knows doesn’t really want him but is just willing to settle for him because the clock is ticking and she can’t find anything better.
