Today, 46 years ago, I became a mother. I had no idea what I was doing, but I learned a lot since then.

I think we all just played it by ear as we became parents for the 1st time.
The 1st was our guinea pig but we did the best we could.
I remember saying that when I have kids I’ll never say that and years later I would open my mouth and out would come that statement I would NEVER say, OMG I’m my mother, and I understood why my parent said that.
